Chapter 69 - Returning To Normal

*Several years later*
*Kyoko's POV*

"Hey Mum did you know Nori has a girlfriend?!" Lydia shouted to me from the living room of our new house.

I was in the kitchen with Roma teaching her how to prepare food.

"No I don't!" Nori shouted at her.

"Really then who's this Darcey girl you've been texting?" Lydia asked.

"S-shut up! Mum I'm not seeing anyone!" He shouted back to me.

"Lydia quit annoying your brother" I smiled at Roma, she was slightly laughing.

Nori was now 20 years old so these argument often occurred, Lydia was 14 and Roma was 9 and me and Makoto were both now 30.

Nita walked into the kitchen and lay down by the counter near her food bowl and she looked at me.

"You have just had food" I told her.

She whimpered and then stretched her paw out and hit her bowl.

"No" I told her.

Tilting her head at me, I knew she understood but she was one greedy dog.

"Where's Dad gone?" Roma asked me.

"He went to go and see Uncle Byakuya and Auntie Toko" I replied.

"Is Auntie Toko still pissed with you?" She asked.

"Don't say that word, and yes she is" I sighed, it had been three years later since I had yelled at her and still she refused to talk to me.

"Can we say shit?!" Lydia asked.

"Stop it you, or I'll hit you with the frying pan" I playfully threatened.

"You and Dad always swear" Roma sighed.

"It's because they are so pissed off with all the shit bags that live around here" Nori smiled as he came into the kitchen.

"Hey stop using those words" I scolded him as I pushed him.

Lydia also followed him into the kitchen and jumped onto the cabinet smiling at us.

"Ah you know I'm just messing with ya" Nori laughed.

Shaking my head I turned my attention back to Roma as she cut up some carrots.

The world had returned back to its normal state after all the Monokuma's had been stopped. Me and Makoto had got a new house for our family, Toko and Byakuya lived a few minutes away and Hina and Soul were a few blocks away. All of us saw each other regularly and often our kids would hang out with each other. Buster and Komaru had also moved into together, they said they weren't a couple but none of us really believed them. They now lived next to Soul and Asahina.

Our front door was unlocked and Nita got up and barked as it opened.

"Hey it's just me" Makoto told her.

She whinned and then came back into the kitchen and sat down next to her bowl.

"I will smash that bowl if you don't leave it alone" I threatened her. Scared she got up and ran off into the living room away from me.
