Mikey's POV

The next day

That night was something that I'd never experienced before. I'd never been so close to a person or moved so fast.

I loved every second of it. Even if we didn't kiss or anything, I had the best night of my life. I sat at the steps the next morning, happy as could be.

"Happy much?" Frank asked, sitting next to me. I nodded.

"Last night," I replied. He grinned.

"Cecilia?" I nodded. "I knew it."

"She's a lot...different than what I thought." He furrowed his eyebrows.

"Huh?" he asked.

"Confident, bold. Not shy or quiet," I replied as Tyler and Cecilia walked up. She sat by me, then Tyler by Frank.

"Soooo," Tyler said, "how was the wild and crazy ride last night?" We both turned red.

"Shut up," Cecilia said, leaning back. Tyler and Frank snickered, then started having a conversation on their own.

"Last night was fun," I grinned, making Cecilia laugh.

"Yeah it was. You wanna come with me tonight?" she asked. I shrugged.

"Where are you going?"

"Queens. I have friends there."

"I'm in," I announced.

After school, Cecilia and I met at the steps.

"It takes almost an hour to get to Queens and my friends just got out of school," she said smiling, then grabbing my hand, "so we gotta get the lead outta our asses." I nodded as we ran to what I assumed to be her car. She jumped in, followed by me, then started the car.

"Who's your friends?" I asked, curious. She grinned.

"One's name is Cassie and the other is her cousin, Brendon," she said, starting to drive. I nodded and tapped my foot to the music she was playing.

"We're almost there," Cecilia said, stopping at a red light. I looked at her as she looked at me. Before I knew it, my lips were on hers. And she didn't stop me. There was a car horn, then we pulled away, seeing a green light. She giggled and started to drive again.

"Hey, uh, um," I stuttered. She grinned.

"Would I like to be your girlfriend? Yes, Mikey, I would." I grinned, wondering how she took the words right out of my mouth.
