"Guess what I got for my favorite girl in the world?" My boyfriend Grayson sits next to me at our lunch table, planting a kiss on my cheek. "I hope it's a burger from In n Out because there's no way I'm eating...that." I say glaring at the plate of mush that was given to us by the lunch ladies. "Well I did get you that..." he says pulling a paper bag out from behind his back, and placing it in front of the tray of mush. I lean forward, planting a kiss on his cheek as a silent thank you. "But...I also got you..." Grayson takes two pieces of paper from behind his back. "These." He holds the papers in front of my face and waits for me to read them. I snatch the papers from his hand and stare at them in awe. "Kendrick Lamar tickets?!" I raise my voice as I continue to stare at the tickets just to make sure they were real. Everyone at the table awes as I attack Grayson in a hug and plant numerous kisses on his face."So do you like them?" Grayson whispers in my ear with his arms wrapped around my waist. "Yes! Of course I like them! But how? Why?" I say still planting kisses on his face. "My uncle is working security at the stadium, told me he had a few free tickets and I mentioned I knew a very pretty girl who would love to go so..." "thank you thank you thank you!" I give Grayson one more time before we both sit down to eat our lunch. "There's just one problem. Grayson says as he pops a fry in his mouth. I look at him and urge him to continue. "The concert starts at 9:00...and I know your curfew is 11:00. And with traffic and everything I doubt we'll be home before 2 in the morning." Grayson was right. With the concert being in a school night, and with my especially strict curfew, there was close to no chance that my parents were going to let me go. "Grayson! You know how strict my parents are! W-what if my parents won't let me go?" I look at my boyfriend with a concerned, sad look. "Well..." Grayson slings his arm over my shoulder and leans into my ear. "I guess we'll just have to sneak out."

"No. Absolutely no." My moms says chopping something for the dinner she was preparing. I look at my mom with a desperate look on my face. "But mom I've been wanting to go to this concert for months and they're such good seats and—"Y/N it is a school night and almost 3 hours away! Do you seriously think I'm going to ok this! The answer is no and that's final!" She turns around and walks out of the room, making it clear we were not going to discuss this any longer. I look over to my dad, who pretends to be busy on his phone to avoid the topic. A small grunt escapes my mouth as I turn around and stomp all the way to my room and slam the door. I grab my phone off the night stand before flopping onto my bed, preparing to tell Grayson about the losing battle I just had with my mother.
"So what did they say? Can you go?" Grayson's voice shouts through the phone before I have the chance to even say hello. "They said no, Grayson. And there's no way of me talking them out of it." My head hits the pillow with a small thump as Grayson sighs from the other end of the phone. "Well, there's one more option..." Grayson's voice fades off. "I don't know Gray, I've never snuck out of the house before." I stand up and check the door just to make sure my parents aren't listening in to the conversation. "Well, just think about it ok? I-I don't want to force you into anything but...I don't know. We'll talk tomorrow at school Alright? I love you." "Love you too Gray." I walk into my bathroom and get ready for bed. After I'm done, I sit on the edge of my bed and weigh the reasons why I should and shouldn't go. And now that I actually think about it, the only reason I wouldn't go is because I would miss watching the power ball with my grandpa when he came over for dinner this Friday. So I guess Kendrick Lamar concert here I come.

"Grayson I wanna go." I say walking up to Grayson at his locker the next day. He has a slightly shocked look on his face. "W-Wait really? Oh thank goodness I would much rather go with you then with Ethan." He closes his locker and takes my small hand in his and begins to walk me to my class. "Ok I'll come pick you up at 8:30, so just tell your parents your not feeling well or something and that you want to go to bed early. Then, you turn out your light and put some pillows under your blankets so it looks like you're asleep Incase your parents walk in." "Seems like you've done this before." I say interrupting Grayson. He pushes me against the wall near my classroom door and leans in closer. "Only to come see you." He kisses me softly and then pulls away, brushing my hair with his thumb. "I'll see you at lunch and don't forget to where that cute jacket tonight. I love that jacket." Grayson runs down the hallway trying to make it to class on time. Which he won't, considering his classroom is across the school and upstairs from mine. But he insists on walking me everyday even though I've told him on multiple occasions that I can get to class on my own. But he just kisses my cheek, and grabs my hand guiding me down the hallway and drawing small shapes on my hand with his thumb while telling me about anything and everything. But honestly, our walks to class were my favorite part of the day.

"Im outside your window. Are you ready?" Grayson's hushed voice comes through the other end of the phone. "Yea. I'm ready I'll be Down in a minute." I say going over my hair with a straightener one last time. I check the bed to make sure it actually looks like someone is sleeping then turn off the light before climbing down the window. Grayson stands against the wall with a smirk on his face. "See that wasn't so hard was it?" He days and wraps his arms around my waist. "Not at all." I say pecking his nose. He takes my hand and guides me to his car that was parked a few houses down. He opens the door for me and I smile as I sit down. Turns out, sneaking out was easier then I thought. When it was dinner, I didn't eat as much as I usually would, which was hard considering it was chicken Alfredo. My parents obviously noticed my odd eating habits and asked if I was feeling well. I told them no and then went upstairs and told them I was going to bed early.
And now Grayson and I are driving down the highway to a different city on a school night, without parental consent and i didn't feel an ounce of guiltGrayson and I arrive at the arena and make our way to the seats, and take a few selfies before it starts. During the concert, Grayson stands behind me with his hands around my waist as I lean against his chest. He kisses my neck while mumbling the words of the songs in my ear and sways us back and forth. It was the best night of my life and I was so lucky to share it with someone as great as Grayson Dolan.
We get into the car after the concert, both pretty drained and voices already horse. "Gray, I'm hungry." I say to him as we exit the parking lot. Grayson smirks at me and then looks back at the road. "What?" I question, wanting to known what I did that was smirk worthy. "Your voice is so sexy right now." He days as we approach a stop light. He leans over and kisses me. Our lips stay locked until the light turns green. Grayson brings his eyes back to the road and pulls into a McDonald's.
After our little late night snack, we make our way back down the highway into our neighborhood, where everyone else is asleep considering it is almost 4 in the morning. Grayson parks his car the same place it was when he picked me up and walks me to the house. I get on the roof and pull out the stub I used to keep my window open. I climb through, stepping quietly knowing my parents were light sleepers. Grayson's Head appears outside the window and I notice his tired eyes right away. "Baby, you look so tired. Go get some sleep." I say kissing the top of his hair. His head falls into my arms, showing how tired he truly was. "I just wanna stay with you. I don't want this night to end." He picks his head up and leans in for a kiss. "Hey, don't worry. I'll see you in four hours when school starts." I giggle making Grayson smile. He kisses my forehead, then my cheeks, then my nose and finally my lips before leaning in towards my ear. "I love your princess, I'll see you tomorrow." "I love you too Grayson." He pulls away and jumps off the roof, heading towards his car.
The next day, I was forced to go to school being told I had gotten plenty of sleep and should feel fine by now. So I went to school in a pair of joggers and one of Grayson crew neck sweaters and didn't bother to put makeup on. The day and time went by rather quickly considering every class, Grayson and I held hands with our heads on our desks, asleep.
