"Chinese?" "Mmm...how about Thai?" "...ok fine" Ethan sits up from the couch he was previously laying down on and starts to put on his shoes while I fix my messy hair. I quickly put on my shoes and go to the kitchen to grab my phone and wallet. As I place my hand on my wallet to stick it in my pocket, another hand lays on top of mine. "Don't worry baby I'll pay." Ethan says from behind me and places a kiss on my cheek. "No Ethan it's fine I can—" Ethan cuts me off my placing his lips on mine as he takes the wallet from my hand. "Why won't you just let me spoil you?" Ethan leans toward my face and glances from my lips to my eyes as he smirks at me. I bite my lip to stop my high pitched giggles from flying out of my mouth. "I mean...I guess you can if you want." I say in a joking manner, running my hand up his chest in a flirtatious way. Ethan chuckles and pecks my lips before standing up straight and putting the car keys in his pockets. "Come on let's hurry I'm starving."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\\~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Ethan opens the door of the restaurant for me and we stand at front of the restaurant, waiting to be seated. I look around the restaurant noticing the rather empty restaurant with only about 5 or 6 other people in there. Ethan stands closely behind me, his chest against my back, with his arm around my waist. "Hi, sorry for the wait." A Blonde hostess comes up to us brushing a piece of hair out of her face. "Table or booth?" She asks grabbing two menus from the hostess station. Ethan looks up at her, and his arms quickly slithers away from my waist, suddenly standing up straighter. "Um...booth." Ethan says shooting her a smile. A blush creeps on to her cheeks as she clutches the menus to her chest and turns around to lead us to a booth. I grab On to Ethan's hand as we start following the hostess, but He quickly shakes me off him following behind , and closely paying attention to the blonde waving her hips in front of him.
I knew Ethan was looking at her, it's exactly how my friends said he looked at me when we first met. And it was obvious that she loved the attention that she was getting from my boyfriend. Well, actually to call Ethan my boyfriend was kind of a stretch. Ethan and I had only been seeing each other for about two months and we hadn't quite had the boyfriend/girlfriend talk. We were definitely a thing though. I mean, we saw each other almost everyday after school, and we were definitely going somewhere, it's just a matter of giving our relationship a title. The hostess stops at a booth farther away from the other customers in the restaurant. Ethan sits on one side of the booth, and I sit on the opposite side. Ethan gives me a weird look as I start looking at the menu. "Baby, why don't you come sit by me?" Ethan asks as soon as the blonde walks away. I only shrug my shoulders and continue to browse the menu. Ethan looks at me with the same expression on his face and I can tell he feels hurt. But so was I. I was confused to, suddenly not sure where Ethan and I stand as a couple made me me doubt how he really feels about me. Maybe I was just a trial run and I would soon be replaced by the cute blonde hostess.
The hostess returns to our both, this time with a pad of paper and a pen in her hand. I give a quick glance at Ethan and sure, enough he's already looking at her with a smirk on his face. "So you're the waitress too?" Ethan asks leaning towards her, his smirk still stuck on his face. "Well the other waitresses are on their break so I guess you're stuck with me." She giggles leaning towards him as well. "Well believe it or not I don't mind being stuck with you." Ethan flirts. I switch my attention between the two of them, watching the whole exchange with my mouth agape. It was as if I want even there. Like I was a ghost.
"My names Cassie by the way." She says, now completely leaning over the table her and Ethan's faces about 5 inches apart. "Cassie. Beautiful name It's nice to meet you Cassie. I'm Ethan" 4 inches. "Well Ethan, thank you for the compliment." 3 inches. "Well I have a lot more of them." 2 inches. "Well Cassie do you happen to have a phone number?""That's it. I'm done." I say sliding out of the booth and making my way out of the door of the Thai restaurant. I pull out my phone from my back pocket trying think of anyone I can call to come pick me up. But when I see Ethan throw the door open and run after me, I decide I have no time for that and start running down the street toward my neighborhood. "Y/N stop please just come back!" Ethan shouts at me, but doesn't even bother to chase after me. I'm starting to think I really wasted my time with him. I slow down as I start to approach the large area of neighborhoods close to Mine and Ethan's houses. "Y/N?" I hear a familiar voice say as I walk with my head down, tears starting to form in my eyes. I look up and see Grayson, standing outside the Dolan house hold. "Hey, why are you walking home I thought Ethan was at your house." Grayson jogs toward me on the sidewalk. I cross my arms over my chest. Partly because I was nervous for Grayson to see me cry and also because I was very cold. Before I can answer Grayson, he notices the tears in my eyes and his facial expression changes.
