I rub my hands together trying to regain the feeling in my fingers as i walk into the cafe. Grayson, my boyfriend doing the same Behind me. He grabs my hand and walks up to the counter to order our food.
"Hi, can I have a bagel and a hot cocoa please." Grayson says to the boy who has been looking at me like a piece if meat since we walked through the door "And I'll have the same." I say to the boy, trying to avoid eye contact "$9.48 is your total." The boy says giving me a slight wink. Grayson puts his arm around my waist and pulls out his wallet, i start to pull out mine to help pay but Grayson stops me . "I've got it princess." He whispers in my ear making me blush and look down.
Grayson pays the worker and drags us to a booth to wait for our food. Grayson pulls my body as closely as he can before glaring at the boy who was miserably failing to flirt with me
"What a douchebag. Can't he see your with your BOYFRIEND?" He says kissing Behind my ear. "Gray it's okay, I want you and only you." I say leaning in to kid his lips. "I love you." He smiles and mumbles before our lips meet. We here a cough and pull apart. "Um...here's your food." The boy says walking away quickly. Grayson snickers and we start to eat our food when the bell on the door dings and catches gray's attention.
"Grayson what's up dude!" I hear a deep voice say from behind us. Grayson quickly pushes
Me off of him and pays attention to the three boys who just walked into the cafe. Grayson stands up and gets out of the booth. Leaving me to sit there awkwardly until he introduces me to the boys.
"Who's the chick?" A boy with bright blonde hair asks Grayson smirking towards me. I sit up quickly. Excited to finally meet some of Grayson's friends other than Ethan.
But i was shocked by Grayson's answer to the question. "She's just some crazy fan who wouldn't leave me alone. Besides I would never go for someone who looks like that." Grayson scoffs while the rest of the boys laugh. Grayson turns towards me with a sympathetic smile before turning back and laughing with the boys. I just shake my head and run out of the cafe. Cold tears start to run down my face as i walk down the crowded sidewalk. "Need a ride?" I turn to see the worker from the cafe leaning against his car window. "Um thanks" I say getting into the passenger seat. Normally, I wouldn't take a ride from a stranger. But I was desperate. Plus how harmless could he be?
"I'm Cj by the way." The boy says looking towards me. "Y/N" I say trying to wipes tears away from my eyes. I give Cj directions to mine and Grayson's apartment. Well, soon to be just Grayson's.
"I'm really sorry about what happened back at the cafe" Cj says in a soft voice. "It's okay" I say as we pull up to the apartment building. "Thank you so much. I really appreciate it." I say hurrying out of the car. "Of course. If you ever need anything else, here's my number." Cj hands be a ripped piece of paper. I wave to him before heading into the house.
I walk into the house and the first thing I do is throw away Cj's number. Then I run upstairs and start packing my suitcase. I hear my phone going off like crazy with messages from Grayson.
Gray❤️: baby, I'm sorry. I didn't mean anything I said in there.
Gray❤️: Y/N please answer me. I'm worried about you.
Gray❤️: I love you
Gray❤️: so so much
Gray❤️: princess please just talk to me.
Gray❤️: I'm so sorry baby
Reading his texts makes me break down in tears again. But I can't forgive him. When I'm almost done packing my clothes, I hear a slam of the front door and Grayson yelling. "Y/N! Baby are you home?" I hear his voice get closer so I wipe my tears not wanting to appear weak. Grayson walks into the bedroom and towards me. "Oh thank goodness your here. I thought you we--baby, why do you have a suitcase?" Grayson's voice gets shaky as his stomach starts to churn with fear. I just walk past him towards the stairs. Grayson teaches towards my hand. "Baby I--" "stop calling me that! We're done Grayson." You say starting to cry. Grayson has tears in his eyes too now. "Princess, I explained everything to them, I told them your my girlfriend, and how much I love you. Please, I'll do anything. Just don't leave me." Grayson says running a hand through his hair.
"If you didn't mean it than you shouldn't have said it." I say grabbing my car Keyes. "I just thought that if they knew you were mine they would try to take you from me. I was just afraid of losing you." Grayson says following me. "You already have lost me Grayson." I say starting my car and driving away. Grayson chases the car for a block or two, but then stops and falls to the ground, banging his fist against the road. "I lost my everything." Grayson mumbles to himself still in the middle of the road.
