Grayson's P.O.V
I sit at home playing PS4 waiting for Ethan to get home. He had to run to the store because he ran out of pineapple to put on his pizza. After a few minutes I hear a knock on the door. I pause my game and get the door to see Y/N, Ethan's girlfriend. "Hey Y/N what's up?" I say giving her a hug. She has slightly a sad look on her face but still hugs me back. "I'm uh fine." She answers. I can tell something is off with her. She's usually so happy and hyper when she comes over. "Is Ethan here right now?" She asks anxiously, playing with the bracelet on her wrist. "No sorry he ran to the store. You can hang out until he gets back." I tell her inviting her in. She shakes her head "I'm sorry I would but I have to hurry." She says "well I can take a message if you'd like." I tell her again. She looks down avoiding eye contact. "Um...thanks gray but this is something I'd rather do in person...you know?" She says giving me a sad look. "Yea I understand." I say giving her a final hug before we say our goodbyes and she leaves. I can't believe it.
She's gonna break up with Ethan. It all makes sense. The sad face, not wanting to come in, wanting to say it in person. I just don't understand why she would want to break up, they really like each other, and if Y\N breaks up with him, Ethan will be heart broken. I can't let that happen. I go back to my game and think about what I'm going to say to Ethan.
Y/N's P.O.V
A tear falls down my face as I walk away from their apartment. I have to tell Ethan that I am going home because my dad is very very sick. I guess I could have just left a message for Ethan but I really just need him to comfort me right now. I sit in my car and let a few tears fall before driving home to start packing. I have to leave by 10:00 tonight. I just hope I get the chance to talk to Ethan before I go.
Ethan's P.O.V
I walk back in to the apartment with my pineapple and see Grayson in the same place he was when I left. "Hey man. I'm back." I shout at him. Gray suddenly looks up at me nervously. "Hey. Can we talk?" He asks me waking away from his game. "Yea what's up?" I say. We walks closer to me with a sad face. "It's about Y/N." he says. My stomachs jumps as I hear her name and then starts to churn as I notice the sad look on Grayson's face. "What about Y/N?" I ask with now the same expression on my face. "I um...think she--she's gonna break up with you." He says without looking at me. I can feel my heart break as I try to process his words. Why would she break up with me? Just yesterday we were talking about our future together and now, she just wants to throw that away? "I'm sorry buddy." Grayson says snapping me out of my thoughts.
"What do I do?" I say mostly to myself. "Well...just... break up with her first." Grayson says. I look at him and roll my eyes. "How would that help?" I snap at him. Grayson shrugs his shoulder. "I'm just sayin, she doesn't wanna be with you anymore. It'll just soften the blow for you if you break up with her first. I shake my head. " I just still can't believe she would just break up with me like that." I say running a hand through my hair and blinking away tears. "I know it hurts man, but trust me you'll find someone else." "I don't want someone else. I want her. I want my baby. But she doesn't want me." I break down as I finish. Grayson walks over to me and rubs my back. I dry my tears and look up. "You're right. I have to break up with her first. It'll kill me, but it'll kill me more if I don't." I wipe wear a few tears before grabbing my keys and walking out the door.
Y/Ns P.O.V
I put one extra t shirt in my bag before zipping it up and setting it by the door. While I wait for my taxi I turn on the tv. Nothing could distract the anxious feeling I have right now. I'm afraid I'm never going to see my dad again after this. I hear a knock on the door so I dry my tears and open the door to see Ethan. I fell slightly happier when I see him. "Hey Eth--" he cuts me off "listen Y/N, I think we need to break up." He says it without making eye contact with me. "Oh. Um... can I ask why?" "I just don't want to be in a relationship with you anymore." He says shrugging his shoulders.
My heart breaks and I play with my bracelet he got me as I blink back tears. "Ethan there is a reason you want to stop this relationship and I want to know it." I say slightly angry. Ethan rolls his eyes, "Y/N cut the act I already know you were gonna break up with me." He says with a disgusted look. My eyes get wide "I was never going to break up with you! What are you talking about?" I shout at him. Ethan shake his head before looking straight in my eyes. "This is a real b*tch move Y/N." he says backing away from the door. My blood is boiling at this point. I rip the bracelet of my wrist and throw it at him. "I never want to see you again." I say forcing back tears before slamming the door shut. Well this has easily been one of the worst days ever. I get a notification saying my car arrived and walk out the door

I was really cranky at everything today and I have no idea why but my brother bought me a milkshake so we're all good. I'm making a part 2 for this one.~C🌺
