You stared at the board, there were so many equations written that your eyes have become so droopy. It was so hard to continue on listening to the teacher and you feel yourself becoming sleepy.

A well folded piece of paper landed on your table, you scrunched your nose in confusion and turned your head towards Daehwi.

"What?" You mouthed without a sound.

He snickered mischievously and gestured for you to open it.

You carefully opened the note only to find another pick up line from him.

'Hello, I'm a thief, and I'm here to steal your heart'.

You stared at him with your brows upward.

"Seriously? Stop with your pick up lines already." You exclaimed a bit too loud.

"What does pick up lines have to do with my lesson, Ms Jihyun?" The teacher voiced out.

You craned your neck nervously and see her tapping her foot in annoyance. She went towards you and snatched the paper, your eyes widened and you couldn't help but bite our lip.

'So who is this thief, huh? Will he answer the problem on the board?' You uncomfortably lowered your head. 

"It's me." You darted your head towards Daehwi who was sheepishly smiling towards the teacher.

"Yah!" you glared at him.

So much for having a best friend, he always teased you every time with pick up lines.Making your heart race and catching you off guard most of the time.He voluntarily stood up and scribbled on the board, he got the right answer, you knew it.

After another day at school, you sighed heavily and plopped down on a comfy chair.

  'I hear you're good at Algebra. Can you replace my X without asking Y?'

"Ya, you haven't even had a girl friend yet pabo."

"So what?" He handed you your favorite flavor of milk tea and sat down beside you.

You then started scanning your notes for the upcoming exam in a week. 

  'You must be a very important textbook passage, because seeing you is the highlight of my day. '

He slowly pushed something on a note that was big enough to read and realize that it was another pick up line.

"Just study already." 

"I don't want to."

"Why again?"

"It's better if I study your face than this textbook." He stared at you intently and laid his head on the textbook that he was talking about."

"Stop your pick up lines already." 

"Do you know that the octopus has three hearts?" 

"I already know that." 

"Listen, okay?" 

You sighed and faced him after fixing your glasses.

If he did another pick up line, you would be enraged. He was your best friend, but what he was doing was so unlike him.

'If I was an octopus, all my 3 hearts would beat for you.'

You feel yourself turning red, but you did not want to assume that he was doing this out of seriousness. You knew he liked to tease people, and now it came to you.

But his teasing makes you hate yourself, because his pick up lines make your heart race.

"You know what? That's it, I'm tired of hearing all of this." You sloppily gathered all your things and stood up from your seat.

He frantically stood up after seeing you give up.

"Wait, please I won't-"

"What?Daehwi-yah, I'm your best friend not the girl that you like so stop already." You huffed and continued on fixing your things.

"Mianhe, but I just can't help it." He clutched onto you when you were just about to leave. 

"Don't do things like this to me, Daehwi." you unclutched his grasp of you and was about to walk out the door.

A paper crane hit your head though, you turned your head towards him glaring.

"Yah!"

"You're so loud, come back here." He covered your mouth and dragged you back to the chair.

He placed a new slice of red velevet cake and knew that you were going to stay, red velvet cake was your weakness and he knew that.

"You're lucky I'm sane right now." You let out in mischief.

"Oh, really? I just know that you won't ever say no to this piece of heaven, right?" He pushed the plate near you and realized that everyone was staring.

"Hey, I won't ever get used to their stares Daehwi." You softly whispered to his ear.

"You have a best friend who is an idol after all."

"Aissh okay mr. Idol." You rolled your eyes and munched on the cake.

"You just really like it, do you?" He stared at you in amusement.

"Don't you ever get tired of teasing me every minute of everyday?"

"Sorry but I won't ever be bored while looking at you." You feel your cheeks heating up but you tried your best to shove it away.
