You stared down to the ground that was very far below. Your white hospital gown had clung to your body like it was being worn by skeletal object. 

Your body had gone thinner with the passing months of therapy. The night breeze was colder than you expected. You balled your fists and looked back down with mixed emotions.

You had the thought of jumping. It was in your mind for a week now.

After hearing about your Mother's business going bankrupt, you knew that she wouldn't be able to pay for the therapy that you had which is very costly.

Giving up was what you placed on your mind, the possibility of curing yourself was far from happening and you knew that.

You closed your eyes and urged to finally jump out of the rooftop of the hospital where you were at.

"Don't!" just as you were about to take another step closer to falling, a voice had made you jolt up in surprise.

No one was supposed to find out that you were at the rooftop during midnight.

You turned your head back to see a guy.

"I'm going to do it." you turned to look at him once more and returned to preparing your self to fall.

"Well if you will, then jump." you were flabbergasted.

You thought he was going to stop you but his words made you confused.

"What?" 

"You said you will jump, so do it." he even pointed at the ground below.

"I will!" you stepped forward again and breathed deeply.

You were going to jump, but why was this guy here?

A sudden push made you gasp out loud, he pushed you.

You closed your eyes in fear and waited for you to really fall.

However, after pushing you, he grasped you tightly so that you wouldn't fall.

His arms had held onto you real tight that you forgot to breath for am moment.

But why did you sigh in relief? Wasn't that what you wanted all this time? That you wanted to end your life because you knew you would just let other people around you suffer, especially yourself.

"Why did you do that?!" you screamed at him when he finally sit back down on the floor after a life and death situation.

"I thought you were going to take your life! See? I knew you weren't prepared to die." he held both of your cheeks.

He was a stranger but he was being too much, you thought.

"I was! But then you interfered!" 

"Well, if you really wanted to die, the you could have done it long ago!" 

"Why are you being like this to me? You don't even know me!"

" I don't have to know you to notice that you were a few centimeters from falling. A lot of people still care about you, don't you know that?" 

"You don't understand, I will just let everyone suffer if I continue hooping that I will be healed." you felt your tears coming out of your eyes.

You thought that you had cried enough, but more tears were coming out now.

"Snap out of that! Everything will be fine, okay?" he gave you a tight hug and let you cry in his chest.

He was a stranger and yet he managed to make you realize about what you were doing.

"How do you know? You're not me. You don't know what I'm going through." 

"I've been there. Taking your life is not the solution." 

"Who are you anyway?'

"I'm Kenta." 

"What are you doing here?" 

"Well I honestly don't know, I was visiting my Mother a few floors below but I had the urge to go up here." 

"And then you saw me."

"Yeah I did, I guess I was meant to find you here tonight."

"Really." 

"So no more tears should be shed, okay?"

 "I can't promise you that."

"Eyy, you have to promise me because I'm your friend now."

"Who said you were? I never agreed to that." 

"Now don't be like that to me."

"I was kidding."

"Nice to meet you miss?"

"See? You don't even know my name."

"Well, you never told me."

"It's Jia, Jia Yu."

"I'm glad I came here tonight Jia, I met you."
