"Be good in Korea, we will miss you." Your family each expressed their farewell message to you when you all arrived in the airport.
"I won't let you down." You waved at them for the last time until you went inside to check in.
When you finally settled yourself on the plane, you instantly felt your tears pouring out so you wore an eye mask and closed your eyes. You sniffed softly and cried silently upon remembering the sad faces of your loved ones. But this was it, an opportunity for you to be a better version of yourself.
You felt someone occupy the seat beside you but you were too preoccupied by your emotions to care. It was only a few moments after the plane started to ascend when you felt yourself fall asleep.
"It's a good thing that you left, we never wanted you with us." It was very painful to hear that from a brother whom you look up to and trust with certainty.
"Finally we can be a family without you, orphan." A bucket of tears erupted from you.
Your mother, the one who took you in and treated you like her own was saying something you never imagined. It was even more difficult because her biological son whom you got along with feels the same as her.
Was this a dream? You couldn't let out a single word to say. It was very painful to hear such awful words from the people who gave you care.
"You must be joking Mom and Donghyun oppa." You were trembling, your hands felt sweaty and you felt yourself going pale.
"We are not joking of course, we are more than happy to have finally got rid of you dear." A voice from behind you made you turn your head.
It was Gyuri Appa, your supportive father and treats you as a daughter that he never had. All them three, stood in front of you and stared at your being as if you were something unimportant.
"No, please don't say that." You lost all the strength in you and you collapsed on the floor.
They looked at you and towered over you, their eyes were filled with disgust and relief at the same time. Was your departure a great thing for them? Did they not see you as a daughter after all these years? Of course you would never believe that, they treated you like how you deserved to be treated.
Everything made you feel like your world was crumbling after that.
"Miss? Are you okay?" You felt yourself being shaken away from your slumber.
You fell awake and removed the eye mask you had on, there was a guy beside you with concern on his face.
"Miss? You're crying." It was only then when you took a hold of your cheek and felt the pouring tears.
A sudden memory of what you just dreamed about made your heart crumble. It felt real, too real.
"It hurts." Those were the first words that escaped out of your lips.
"Hurt? Please tell me what's wrong." You looked at the person who was trying to fathom what was wrong with you.
"Oh I'm so sorry." You quickly bowed to him and realized that he was probably around your age.
"Is it okay if I ask you why you were crying?" He exclaimed after a few moment of silence.
"I had a dream, it felt so real and so painful." He only nodded his head after that.
"I'm sorry again, it must have surprised you to see me suddenly cry." He shook his head and gave you a soft smile.
"It's fine." He offered a piece of chocolate to you and you stared at it dumbfounded.
"Accept it, maybe you can feel much more better after eating one." You sheepishly grinned at him and grabbed a piece of chocolate.
"Thank you so much."
"Do you feel better now?" He stated after seeing you devour the chocolate he offered.
"I feel so much better." You gave him the most sincere smile you could muster and kept thanking him every few seconds.
"I do hope you should stop thanking me." You realized that you probably went overboard again after feeling guilty of disturbing him.
"Sorry."
"And now you're going to say sorry a couple of times again, right?"
"Probably." A grin escaped my lips as he shook his head in interest.
"What's your name Ms. Chocolate?"
"Did you just call me Ms. Chocolate?"
"Yes I did."
"Well, can't I ask you the same thing Mr. Helpful?"
"Really? Mr. Helpful is the best that you've got?" He snickered at me.
"What's wrong with that? I believe it's the perfect word for you right now."
"Alright, my name is Im Young min. Now, tell me what is yours Ms. Chocolate."
