"Okay everyone, please go back to your proper seats." Mrs. Han told the students inside.

You gulped nervously because you were new. A transfer student from China.

"Now, I want you to meet someone." The door  opened and Mrs. Han let you come in.

You lowered your head and stared on the floor when you entered, you were a very shy person.

"Annyeonghaseyo, I'm Lin Yingyun please take care of me." You bowed to the class and finally raised your head.

You saw a lot of good looking people who were staring at you curiously, it made you uncomfortable too.

"You can sit beside Lai Guanlin. He also speaks Chinese." You nodded your head at her and walked towards the table shyly.

You didn't like the attention and now it was all given to you.

A handsome boy surprised you, he was your seatmate and he gave you a wide grin.

You thought that he was going to be your first friend because he even gave you a smile , but he ignored you right after that. It's been weeks since you moved but he never spoke a word to you.

You wanted him to be your friend because you both speak Chinese but he rarely talks and you're too shy. Striking up a conversation is hard for you.

"So class, this project will be done in pairs, choose any language you want and revise this story." You looked at your classmates and saw that all the friends you made had other pairs.

You felt someone poke you on your sides, no one ever sits beside you but Lai Guanlin, was he the one poking you?

'成为我的伴侣 (Be my Partner)' He slid a note in front of you as you looked at him pointing to the paper.

'好的(Okay)' You nodded your head and smiled at him.

You were surprised to see him smile a bit at you because the last time that he did that was when you first transferred here.

"Guanlin, what do we do with our project?" You turned to face him right after the last bell had rung.

"We should set a date for when we'll make it." He wrote another note in Chinese and passed it on to you.

'我以为你不喜欢我 (I thought you didn't like me)' You shook your head at him.

He thought that you didn't like him? He was a very cute guy!

You carefully wrote a response to his beautiful handwriting and grinned shyly.

'我是一个很害羞的人(I'm a very shy person)' He looked at you surprised, and then offered his hand for you to shake.

"Nice to meet you." He stifled a laugh at your silly look.

"Nice to meet you too."

You received an A+ grade on the project and you couldn't help but jump in glee. You didn't know what really happened because the both of you were too happy and he suddenly engulfed you in a hug which made you stop and get stiff.

He hugged you, you were wrapped in his arms!

The both of you had realized what happened and pulled away awkwardly.

You went back to your seats with all your classmates looking at you in envy.

A tap on your shoulder made you turn to his side and realized that he had written another note.

'我们来庆祝吧(let's celebrate)!' His cute handwriting made you smile.

You've been passing notes to each other from time to time. Each moment getting sillier than before.

You became closer too, he looked so unapproachable at first but you sure got comfortable with each other knowing that you both speak Chinese.

'当然(Sure)!' You looked at his grinning face and nodded excitedly.

'我们也应该约会吗(Should we go on a date too)?' The next note he passed made your heart pound so much.

Your cheeks heated up and you were sure that you became so red. He was your seatmate and he's looking at you at the moment while other group project's are being checked so he can totally see your blushing face.

"Date?" Those words came out on your mouth so weakly.

Going out on a date with Lai Guanlin? That is so once in a lifetime.

He nodded his head and stared at you hopefully, it was the first time that you had that long eye contact.

You bit your lip in nervousness, you never knew that he will ask you something that you have always been waiting for.

"Okay Lai Guanlin." You wrote his name slowly and gave it to him blushing.

'Why are you so pretty?' He passed a response note that made you stand up without thinking.

"You dare to interrupt my class Ms. Lin Yingyun?" Mrs. Han eyed you sternly till you bowed your head and sat down again.

You see Guanlin trying to stop himself from laughing at how cute you were.

'You're so adorable <3' He placed the note on your forehead mischievously.

You playfully glared at him and blushed when you read the words.

"Yeppeuda (pretty)." He layed his head on the table without breaking eye contact from me.

"Uh-" You didn't know what to say.

He blinked cutely at you and held your hand under the table.

It felt warm.
