"Hey, I told you to do what I say!" Somin slapped you on the cheek so hard that you got out of balance.

You squinted in pain and held your cheek. Looking down on the ground, Somin and her gangs landed a few kicks on your body and you couldn't even do anything.

"Stop!" a voice and shuffling footsteps ceased the beatings that they were doing to you.

You didn't want to know who it was, everyone pitied you for being the daughter of an adult actress and concluded that you were doing sexual acts too.

It was pretty stressful, your dignity as a girl and a person is being stepped  on and they see you as someone who is so dirty.

"She's only one and then you are four, that is so unfair." a figure had clutched your shoulders and made you stand up.

You looked down as much as you could and avoided his face, he seems new to the school and you knew that he will soon look at you like the way everyone else does.

"Mind your own business! She deserves it anyway." you felt the pain coming from all over your body, you knew that it was going to be a sleepless night again because you had to treat your new wounds.

"What did she ever do to you four?" the guy made you stand back up again after you lost the strength to stand up and made the girls leave.

You somehow felt relieved, but only a bit. They were coming back, and they will be more harsh with you the next time they had the chance.

"Are you okay?" he made you face him but you looked away.

You couldn't look at him, especially because there were tears in your eyes.

"Do I look like I'm okay? Just please stay away from me just like what everyone else does." you tried to walk but you crashed to the ground instead.

"You need to be treated!" he rushed by your side and held you by your shoulder blades.

"Leave me alone!" you raised your voice and glared at him.

He did not budge though, he forcefully carried you in his arms and took you somewhere. You hit him and screamed for him to let you go but the pain was too much and you already felt so tired after getting beat up.

"I won't leave you alone." he carried you all the way to the nurse's office and you kept silent the whole time.

The other students that he passed by was whispering with each other.

He carefully placed you down the bed and waited for the nurse to arrive. You bit your lip after feeling continuous sensations of pain and he noticed that.

"You should not let them do that to you." he sat beside the bed that you were in and even stared at you.

"Why do you care?You don't even know me." 

"I care because my sister went through being bullied too." you looked at him for the first time and gasped.

He was very attractive, of course he was a new student. No one tried to approach you with the background that you had.

"It's much more than that so please stay away from me." you hid under the covers and tried to cry the pain away.

"I don't care if your Mom is an adult actress, it doesn't mean that you are like one too." you carefully peeked at him.

"Why?"

"Because I want to be your friend and we have identical phone case." he showed you his phone and what he said was really true.

Your case was actually an improvised one, you bought it from an odd looking shop and admired it.

"How come its the same?" you got up from your lying position and talked to him casually for the very first time.

"I don't know, maybe it's a coincidence." he showed you a big grin and took something out of his pocket.

"I want you to take this candy, its my favorite." he handed it to you and placed on your palm.

"Well, thanks." you scratched the back of your head and stared at the phone case.

How come he had the exact same case?

"Your name is Ara, right? I'm Kim Donghan." he offered his hand for you to shake and a smile.

"Why are you like this to me." you contemplated with yourself to befriend him or not.

"I want you to be my friend." he stated like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Why me?"

"Just because."

"Why do I have a feeling that I have seen you before." you furrowed your brows and squinted your eyes at him.

"Well actually, my parents own the shop that you bought the phone case." 

"What?"

"Yeah and I've been observing you for weeks now." 

"Why?"

"I just got curious because you kept on going to the shop even when its far away."

"Well I just like it because its unique and there are so many random things that you can buy there." your eyes glimmered. 

Collecting unique things was your hobby, it was the only way that you could relieve your stress.

"I had this case for over a year now and I have waited for the day that someone would find the other half of it." he showed you the two phones and placed them closer together.At the back of the phones, it was actually attachable to each other and that made you gasp in surprise.

"So this has a pair?" 

"Yeah."

"And you're telling me that the other half of this case is what you have." you stuck both the phones yourselves to prove it but it really was true.

"I guess you are my other half."

"What?Why?"

"Because you were meant to find it and buy it." 

"It's just a coincidence."

"So be my friend, Ara." 

"Okay."

"I'll protect you from now on."
