I woke up several hours later to a loud buzzing beside my head. I groaned and swatted at it with my hand. When it didn't shut up I grabbed it and half opened my eyes to glance at what it said. It was a call from my ex, Rob. Ohhkay...why was he calling? Like what the hell? We broke up last month and hadn't spoken since. It hadn't been a great breakup...I pressed ignore and sat up, rubbing my eyes. I could hear people moving around in the kitchen.

"Li-ummmmmm, I want breakfast!" I heard Louis whine.

"Calm yourself Lou, I can't make the pan heat up any faster." Liam replied patiently.

"Is she awake yet?" Harry's voice asked.

"No, she and Cat are still sleeping," Liam answered again.

"So are Zayn and Niall," Louis added.

"So how were you and Eleanor last night?" Harry asked in a cheeky voice.

"I could ask the same of you and Tiffany," Louis replied. I could just imagine his smirk. Harry laughed and said

"Nothing, she fell asleep in my arms."

"Awwwww" Lou and Liam cried in high pitched voices.

"Shut up" Harry said, laughing again.

"Does wittle Haywee have a crush?" Louis sang.

"He's grinning! He's grinning!" Liam yelled.

"Are you cheating on me? If you are, we are OVER, Haz!"

"Calm down, Lou, you'll always be my boo bear," Harry said.

"But seriously guys, I kind of...really like Tiffany, and it's really freaking me out." Even from my eavesdropping spot in the bedroom, I could tell his tone had suddenly gotten serious. “Like, I’ve never felt this way about a girl before. It’s weird, but she just, draws me in, you know?” He continued. “I don’t know how to handle it. I don’t even know her that well, I met her barely two days ago, for Christ’s sake!” His voice had grown louder and angrier. There was silence for a moment after he finished. My cheeks were flushed, my heart pounding out a strange rhythm as what I heard soaked in. Harry liked me? A lot? I strained to hear what the boy’s response would be.

“Well,” Liam said, breaking the silence, “As for the not knowing her part, you could take her out today and get to know her better. Just relax and see where it goes, don’t take things too seriously at first.”

“Yeah, what he said,” Louis chimed in hastily. Maybe this would be a good time to “wake up”. I stretched and groaned a bit, loud enough for them to know I was awake.

“Well shut up about it now, she’s awake,”   Harry mumbled under his breath. I heard his footsteps as he walked towards the room. I lay back down before he came in so I looked like I had just woken up.

“Hey, you,” I smiled at him as he walked in the room.

“Hey,” he half-smiled, still anxious from his conversation with the boys.

“How did I end up in your bed?” I asked. “My head is still a bit muddled from last night.”

“Well, you fell asleep when we were hiding in the closet, so I just set you in here so you’d have a place to sleep. I crashed on the couch.” He answered, smirking a bit.

“You didn’t have to do that! You should’ve put me on the couch, I’m sorry!”

“No, it’s fine, I promise,” he said, putting my guiltiness to rest. “Do you want some breakfast? We could go out for some, I think Liam already finished cooking…" He asked me, helping me up from the bed.

“You know what, let’s go back to my place and eat, that way I can change into fresh clothes,” I said, ruefully observing the wrinkled state my clothes were in.

“Sounds good,” Haz grinned. As we walked out the door, I waved good-bye to Lou and Liam, who were unusually quiet, sitting and watching the news in the living room. We were driving back when I gasped, suddenly remembering something.

“Oh my gosh, I totally forgot about Cat! Is she back at your place?” I asked Harry, who had inadvertently stomped on the brakes due to my outburst.

“Oh, yeah, she fell asleep too, Niall will take care of her-SORRY SIR!” He waved at the man who was honking at us for stopping so fast.

“Oh, I hope they end up together,” I sighed, leaning back in my seat. “Cat needs a good relationship, lately she’s been really busy with her job and has had no social life to speak of.” I said, deciding to confide in Harry.

“Oh, I think they will,” He winked at me. “I know Niall, and I know he already thinks pretty highly of her.”

“Good!” I squealed. “They’ll be SO CUTE!”

“Woah, look who suddenly got energized!” He laughed, pulling up to my apartment building. I grinned at him.

“It’s the idea of my best friend in the whole wide world being happy again. Gets me hyped up.” I told him, bouncing as we walked in the door. He laughed at me again, and I felt this surge of happiness blossom inside me. Things were going so well, my life was actually working out for me for once. Things couldn’t get any better. As we waited for the elevator, Harry took my hand. When it arrived, he pulled me inside and put his arm around me. I looked up into his face and smiled.

“Hey,” he looked down at me, his green eyes glowing.

“Hey,” I stared back into his eyes, and he reached down and kissed me. It was soft, and gentle, and so perfect I nearly died. This kiss continued, turning more passionate. His hands slid down to my waist, and I moved my hands up into his curly hair. Suddenly the doors opened and I heard an angry gasp. Harry and I broke apart and I turned to see Rob, my ex-boyfriend, standing outside my door, staring lividly at us.
