As Harry pulled up to my apartment building it started to rain. We sat there a moment, not saying anything. I suddenly realized this would probably be the last time I ever saw him. The thought of never talking to him again made a lump form in my throat, and I had to fight tears. Finally I couldn’t stand the silence any longer.

“Thank you, again, for saving my life,” I spoke softly.

“I’m just glad I was there to help. If I hadn’t been…” He didn’t finish the thought. We both knew what he had been going to say.

“I guess this is goodbye, then.” I said sadly.

“It doesn’t have to be,” He murmured. I began to feel a glimmer of hope. I turned my head to find him looking at me. “I’d love to see you again sometime,” he said as a hopeful smile formed on his face. I cautiously smiled back.

“I’d like to see you too.”

“Great!” He grinned broadly. “I’ll call you soon.”

“Um, Harry, you don’t have my number.” I pointed out. He just winked.

“I have my ways,” he said laughing. I shook my head; of course he had my number, he had stolen my phone not 20 minutes ago.

“I’ll be seeing you then,” I said happily, getting out of the car.

“Bye, Tiffany,” He sang before I shut the door. I ran inside, getting sopping wet in the process. I turned and waved goodbye, and he blew me a kiss. I laughed and walked to take the elevator to our flat on the 15th floor.  As I rode up, I contemplated what I would say to Cat. She was a HUGE Directioner. She had all their songs, their book, DVD, bed sheets-you name it, she had it. I was still deep in thought when the doors opened, and I headed down the hall to our flat. I unlocked the door and walked in, dropping my stuff on the counter.

“Cat! I’m home!” I yelled.

“TIFFANYYY!” I heard her scream before she came barreling through the kitchen at me. She ran into me and hugged me tight, squeezing me so I could barely breathe.

“Cat…having…trouble…with…air…flow…” I gasped. She released me, only to grab onto my shoulders and give me a once-over.

“Are you ok? Where were you? Explain. NOW”. She gave me a menacing look, as if to dare me to defy her. I laughed and started talking. Her mouth dropped open in horror when I told her about the drunk. “How are you smiling?!” She exclaimed. “You could’ve been KILLED!”

“Well, you see, someone came along and saved me…” I trailed off, not knowing how to tell her who rescued me.

“Who?” She asked impatiently. “Who helped you? I need to go give them a medal for saving my best friend.” I hesitated.

“Promise you’ll believe me? Even if it doesn’t seem…realistic?” I asked her. She shot me a confused look.

“Yeah, of course I will, why, who saved you?”

“…Harry Styles.” I finally said. I braced myself for her refusal of the truth; it never came.

“OMFG ARE YOU SERIOUS? HARRY FUCKING STYLES SAVED YOU? NO WAY. ARE YOU SERIOUS? Ohmygodohmygodohmygod.” She started hyperventilating.

“Cat, calm down, it’s not that big of a…” She cut me off.

“Is he the ‘new friend’s place you stayed at? OHMYGOD TIFF you were with freaking ONE DIRECTION and you didn’t invite me to your slumber party?!” She started jumping up and down, shaking me, a huge grin on her face. “You have to introduce me to them. Are they just as adorable in person? Did they sing for you? Is Louis really obsessed with carrots?”

“Yes, no, and yes,” I answered, laughing. She ran into the living room and started jumping on the couch.

“Harry freaking Styles saved my best friend. MY best friend. And she met One Direction. This is UNREAL.” I followed her and pulled her off the couch and sat down on the floor.

“That’s not even the best part,” I whispered, unable to contain my excitement any longer.

“What?” Cat said eagerly.

“Harry Styles has my NUMBER!” I squealed, finally letting myself fangirl.

“WHAT? NO WAY, UGH IM SO JEALOUS! AND YET PROUD!” She screamed. Just then my phone started to ring. “Oh my god, is that him now?” Cat asked breathlessly. I checked my phone and grinned. The caller ID said Harry Sexypants Styles.

“Yep, it’s him!” I said, starting to freak out a bit.

“WELL ANSWER IT!” Cat yelled, smacking my arm.

“Ok! Calm down, shh be quiet, I’ll put him on speaker.” Cat shushed herself, and I pressed answer. “Hello?” I said.

“Hey, love, it’s Harry,” his amazing British accent came through the phone. Cat started silently fangirling, while I put a finger to my lips and said

“Yeah, I guessed as much from the caller ID. Really? Sexypants?” I laughed. He laughed too, and I could just see him smirking.

“You know it’s true,” he said cheekily.

“Whatever you say, Haz.” I giggled. Cat was currently on the floor having a silent spaz attack.

“So, I know I just saw you, but the boys and I were wondering if you’d like to come to a movie and dinner with us tonight.” Cat instantly sat up and started nodding so hard I thought her head might fall off.

“That sounds great,” I said as casually as I could manage. Then I remembered Cat. “Is it ok if I bring my roommate Cat, the one I told you about?” I asked, hoping to high heaven she could come.

“Sure, that’s perfect actually, since Louis and Liam are bringing Eleanor and Danielle, and Zayn’s bringing some girl he met last week somewhere. Now Niall can have someone to hang with.” As soon as Cat heard that, her eyes grew wide and she sat still in rapture. I giggled at her and then answered,

“Fantastic! What time should we be ready?”

“We’ll pick you up at 6,” he said. I checked my phone. That was in like two hours! “Oh, and don’t worry about dressing up,” he said. “We’ll probably end up going to like Nandos for dinner or something.”

“Harry! Are you talking to Tiffany?” I heard Louis scream in the background.

“Yea!”

“HI TIFFANY!” It sounded like all the boys were listening in now.

“Hi boys!” I yelled into the phone.

“Alright, I’ll see you later Tiffany. I’m really looking forward to tonight,” Harry added in a softer tone.

“Hey! NO PHONE SEX HAZZA!” Louis shouted. “THAT’S ONLY ALLOWED WITH ME!” I laughed and said

“I’m looking forward to it too, Harry. See you tonight.” I hung up, and turned to see Cat grinning evilly. “What?” I asked warily.

“We are going on a DATE with ONE DIRECTION. You are letting ME dress you.” I sighed, knowing she was right.

“Fine, but only if-”

“HAHAHA COME WITH ME MY PRETTY!” She yelled, dragging me towards the bedroom. What had I gotten myself into?
