*TIFFANYS POV*

“Hello?” I asked cautiously as I opened the door to our apartment. I didn’t want to interrupt Cat and

Niall if anything was going on…receiving no answer, I proceeded to poke my head around the door. The living room was empty, so I walked in and banged the door to let them know I was home. “CAT AND NIALLLL,” I sang in an obnoxious voice. “COME OUT, COME OUT, WHERE EVER YOU AREEEE!”

“We’re right here!” I heard Cat’s voice from the kitchen. I walked in to see her on Niall’s lap, a plate of pancake remains in front of them.

“Save any for me?” I fake pouted, walking over to kiss Cat on the head.

“Sorry, we were a bit hungry,” Niall grinned.

“I can see that,” I laughed. “Don’t worry, I ate back at Harry’s.”

“Where is Harry, anyways?” Cat asked, getting up from the table and dumping her plate in the sink. I sighed and put it in the dishwasher for her, knowing it would never get done if I left it.

“He and the boys are back getting ready, I’m supposed to tell Niall to do the same,” I answered.

“Ready for what?” Niall frowned.

“Oh, I forgot, you had left, you and the boys are giving an impromptu concert at a birthday party today! Yayy!” I cheered sarcastically. He groaned.

“But I’m tired,” he whined.

“Get off your lazy butt and go get ready,” Cat said cheerfully, kissing him on the cheek and pulling him up.

“We’re coming to the concert, so we need to get ready too!” I told him, aiding Cat in shoving him out the door.

“I’m not even dressed!” He protested. Oh, yeah. I guess he was only in his boxers. I relented.

“Fine, you can get dressed, but then you need to book it, we’re leaving in an hour!” When he finally got his clothes on and left, I turned to Cat. “Okay, tell me EVERYTHING, NOW.” She grinned bashfully.

“But we need to get ready!” She said, trying to distract me.

“We will do that AFTER you tell me what went on between you and Niall last night.” I insisted, pulling her down on the couch.

“Nothing happened,” she said unconvincingly. I raised my eyebrow and she winked. I gasped.

“Did you guys really…did you?” I asked, astonished.

She laughed. “No, we didn’t actually have sex, we just made out and then fell asleep watching Nemo,” she sighed happily. I laughed; that was so Cat.

“I’m so happy for you, girl!” I squealed, punching her arm. She smiled, then widened her eyes.

“What happened between you and Haz-Bear over there, huh babe?” She winked at me.

“Nothing. We just went back to the apartment. Zayn was there, and he was acting all weird…” I trailed off as I saw her nodding. “Wait, what?”

“Honey, Zayn was totally checking you out when we all went to dinner. He’s obviously interested in you.” She said in a matter-of-fact voice. What? No, that can’t be true…

“No way, he had Sarah!” I pointed out, trying to deny her thoughts.

“Yeah, and did you notice how he ditched her by the end of the night? He was just trying to get your attention, and when it didn’t work he got rid of her. I mean, let’s face it, she was an annoying slut,” She reflected.

I shook my head. “No, you’re crazy, he’s not into me.”

“Whatever, anything else happen besides Zayn’s moodiness?” She asked, changing the subject. I fell silent, and she noticed immediately. “What happened? Did something happen between you and Harry?” She asked anxiously.

“No, no it’s just…Rob called.” Her expression changed to fury. I proceeded to tell her how he had come to our apartment, and how I had yelled at him, and how he had told me I’d regret it. “I ignored his call, but Harry freaked and said that we need to block his number,” I finished, looking down at my hands.

“I swear, Tiff, if that guy doesn’t leave you alone…” Cat said through clenched teeth.

“Stop.” I interrupted her before she could go further.

“You didn’t let me call the police the first time, if tries to start something again, you will NOT be able to stop me.” Cat continued, despite my interruption. “End of story.” She said a little softer.

“He won’t, so don’t worry about it,” I tried to sound convincing. I looked down at my phone. “Shit, Cat, we only have half an hour!”

“Go shower, I already did.” She ordered.

“Will you pick out something for me to wear?” I yelled over my shoulder as I ran down the hall.

“Yeah, yeah, fine,” She grumbled. I grinned.

“Thank you, love!” I took possibly the shortest shower in history, blow-drying my hair just enough so that it looked dry. I ran into my bedroom to find Cat already dressed in high-waisted shorts paired with  an over-sized sequin sweater and stilettos. “Damn, girl,” I giggled. She rolled her eyes.

“Shut up and put this shit on while I do my makeup,” She instructed. I surveyed the outfit she had laid out; a teal romper with a tie waist, a lace cardigan and metallic gladiator sandals. I grinned. She knew me so well. I dropped my towel and got dressed quickly. I glanced at my watch.

“10 minutes until we meet the boys at the party! We need to leave!” I screeched across the room. Cat came dashing out, throwing a tube of mascara and a lash curler at me.

“Put those on in the car, I’ll drive!” She yelled, grabbing a clutch and sprinting out the door. I grabbed one as well and followed soon after. We ran down to the garage and climbed into the Volvo we shared. She shoved the key in and slammed her foot on the gas, causing us to shoot backwards. She stomped on the brake just before we hit the wall.

“Jesus, Cat, if you don’t drive safe, we’ll get killed and never get there!” I complained as I tried to wipe the mascara I had smeared on my cheek off.

“Sorry, sorry,” She muttered as she drove out into the street a bit more slowly. My phone buzzed and I picked it up. It was a text from Harry.

I quickly tapped out my reply

On our way! Sorry we’re late, where should we go once we get inside?

He replied a minute later

From: Harry Sexypants Styles

Paul will be waiting for you, he’ll tell you where to go

“Uh, Tiff? We might have a problem…”Cat said in a nervous voice. I looked up from my phone to see that we had parked in front of the hotel where the birthday party was. There was a swarm of fans and paparazzi blocking the doors, and no security guards in sight. “How are we going to get through?” Cat asked in disbelief.

“Uh, just walk through, if anyone asks we can just call Paul,” I said, trying to sound confident.

“Okay, if you say so…” Cat sounded incredulous, but she turned off the car and got out. As soon as we shut the doors, we heard screams. We turned to see a girl pointing at us.

“IT’S ONE DIRECTION’S GIRLFRIENDS!” She yelled, causing the whole crowd to spin and look at us. Oh, boy…
