*TIFFANYS POV*
Cat and I walked forward past the divider and found the boys and an extremely attractive man sitting around a table with microphones pushed up to their faces. The boys all looked up, startled. Louis recovered the fastest and waved merrily. I pasted a frozen smile on my face and looked at Harry with questioning eyes. He just shrugged, looking as surprised as I did.
"Hello girls! Come, come, sit down, and don't you two look spectacular tonight, come, have a seat," the man spoke very fast while smiling and motioning towards two chairs set up next to him.
"What is going on?" Cat hissed in my ear as we sat down.
"No idea," I said through my teeth. I was not a very happy camper. We were told we would not be doing any interviews....
"Now, let me just explain to our listeners what is going on here in the studio. I, Andy Manor, have surprised the lads of One Direction with a visit from their lovely ladies!" The man spoke into the microphone proudly. "Yes, it is true, we have Tiffany Thorton and Cat Blythe here! Say hello, girls!" He pointed to a microphone set in front of us. I searched the room desperately for Paul, or John, or anyone, to save me from answering. I found Paul, but to my despair he shrugged and motioned for me to go on. I rolled my eyes at him.
"Hi!" I chirped fakely.
"Hello!" Cat chimed in. I could tell she was nervous.
"So, boys, Harry and Niall specifically, how does it feel to have your girlfriends be an interview with you?"
"Well, Liam and mine's girlfriends are not here at the moment, so it feels like an ordinary interview for us?" Louis answered sarcastically. I held in a snort. It was a good point; where the hell were Dani and Eleanor?
"Uh, its a wonderful surprise," Niall said sweetly, as Andy ignored Louis's answer.
"Harry? How about you?" Andy asked, digging for info.
"I agree with Niall, we did not expect this," Harry said carefully, grinning at me. I narrowed my eyes at him. "Uh, but it is fantastic to see them," he finished quickly. I winked, despite how pissed I was that Cat and I had been tricked into this.
"Now, girls, we were just discussing relationships with the boys, and Harry and Niall publicly confirmed their relationships with you two. How does it feel to be dating One Direction and have everyone know about it?" Andy turned his hawk eyes to us, asking his question bluntly, still speaking so fast I could barely understand him. I looked at Cat, wanting her to answer.
"Um, well, obviously, it's like dating your boyfriend, because that's what Niall is to me," Cat answered. I nodded. "The fans are a little strange, but you just deal with it, because that's what comes with dating him." She continued.
"Anything to add, Tiffany?" He prompted me. Ugh, I so did not want to talk about my relationship. I put another fake smile on.
"I think Cat pretty much covered it, we're just living our lives and our boyfriends happen to be famous." I said simply, directing my gaze over to Harry. He smiled and nodded his head, trying to encourage me.
"And this is your first time doing any sort of press, right?" Andy prodded. Cat and I both nodded. "Does it feel weird that you're getting press, just for dating someone?"
"Uh, yeah, a little," Cat said. "I mean, they're the famous ones, not us."
"But you're dating them!" Andy protested.
"Yeahh, so? I'm happy if people support us, but it's a bit odd to get attention for having a boyfriend." Cat shot back. I could see the boys shaking with laughter behind Andy's back. Cat was getting her sass on.
"We really appreciate all the support, for sure," I jumped in before Cat could start ranting.
"Of course, of course," Andy smiled politely. "Now, we have some viewer questions for you here," He started shuffling papers around on his desk.
"For us?" I asked, surprised.
"Mmhmm," he answered, still looking.
"But how did you get questions if no one knew we were going to be on here?" I asked, bewieldered. Harry started sniggering at me. They were all enjoying this thoroughly, I could tell.
"We asked our twitter followers for questions they would ask One Direction's girlfriends if they could meet them!" Andy finally held up a sheet of paper. "And here they are! Okay, first question, from 1Dbabe32, does Niall really eat 24/7?" He looked up at Cat expectantly.
"Um, I don't know, not really? He eats more than I do, which is an accomplishment," She laughed. I looked at her and grinned. She had gotten way more comfortable with this whole situation.
"Okay, question two, from MarryMeHazza45, what do the boys do when they're at home?" Andy asked, scanning his sheet of paper. Cat looked at me to answer.
"Uh, normal guy stuff I guess, they play video games, some football..." I trailed off, not knowing what else to say. Fortunately Andy knew how to keep the interview flowing.
"Brilliant!" He beamed at us. "Here's another, from anonymous, are all of One Direction's girlfriends friends with each other?" Cat and I both nodded.
"We haven't seen Eleanor and Danielle much yet, but they're both lovely girls," Cat smiled.
"Alright, and we have time for one more question for both the lads and the ladies, from Sarah and Chelsey, who, out of all of you, is on Twitter the most?"
"Niall," we all answered at the same time, laughing. Niall just grinned.
"Excellent, excellent. Well, we'd like to thank you for having you on the show, been fantastic to meet you all, good luck with your upcoming tour, and remember folks, this is the Andy Manor show on CapitalFM." Andy finished with a flourish. As soon as the Off Air sign came on, I stood up and marched over to Paul.
"What the hell was that?" I sputtered. "You told us we wouldn't be doing any interviews!"
"Sorry!" Paul shrugged again. "We didn't even know about the 'surprise', we thought you would be led to the viewing room when you got here, not into the studio!" I groaned, thinking about how stupid I would sound broadcasting over the radio. I felt a pair of arms snake around my waist and turned to see Harry grinning at me.
"Well, fancy meeting you here," he winked. I groaned again.
"Did you know about this?" I demanded, though my anger was fading as he held me closer.
"No, I swear I didn't. You did great though," he pecked my cheek. I rolled my eyes but leaned into him.
"I hate public speaking." I pouted.
"Well, you might have to get used to it," he laughed. "Come on, we gotta go," he started pulling me towards the door.
"What? Where?" I asked, confused. No one else was following us. "Are you even allowed to leave yet?"
"We're going on a proper date," he grinned. "And yes, I cleared it with Paul, I am allowed to leave."
"Do you know what?" I felt myself smile as a thought came to me.
"What?"
"This is going to be our first date," I grinned, already excited.
