Soda hated it when you wore makeup. He absolutely HATED it. He didn't see why you had to cover up your face, he thought it was gorgeous naturally. You disagreed. Last night you two had gone out but by the time you were back at your house it was almost midnight and it was pouring rain outside. So he called Darry and he said Soda could stay the night at your house. It was an innocent night, you two just slept next to each other. Your parents were gone and you didn't know when they were coming back, but you doubted it was any time soon. You were happy that he didn't have to leave and you didn't have to stay home alone, but you were scared what he would think when he saw you first thing in the morning. Sodas not one of those guys who's into you just cause you look good, but that doesn't mean you want him seeing you looking like crap. When you woke up in his arms you quickly made your way into the restroom. You had showered, and brushed your hair and teeth when you heard a knock on the door.

"Hey y/n, mind if I come in and take a shower?" He said through the door.

"Yah sure, come in." I looked at the door and smiled at him when he came in. He smiled and walked over to me. He put his hands on my hips and kissed me softly. I left and got dressed while he was in the shower but came in to put on make up.  I heard the water stop after a little while and I saw Soda stick his head out from behind the shower curtain and smile at me.

"Hey y/n could you hand me a towel?" I grabbed one and handed it to him.

"Thanks"

I smiled and he pulled his head back into the shower.

"Hey y/n, can I ask you something?"

"Yeah. What's up?" I asked while I finished my makeup.

"Why do always wear makeup? You look beautiful without it."

"Soda, you look good naturally. Some of us have to work at it." You said, a little annoyed.

"Have you looked at yourself lately? You look gorgeous, hot, attractive, charming, radiant, beautiful, ravishing, stunning, wonderful, lovely, magnificent se-"

He said as he wrapped his arms around your stomach and tickled you. You cut him off though when you started laughing.

"Soda! Stop!" You laughed.

"Hmm well you're smiling so I'd say you're enjoying this." He said in a cocky tone. He stopped though and kissed my cheek from behind and kept his arms around my waist. He rested his chin on my shoulder and smiled at me through the mirror. I smiled back but blushed when realized I realized he was still in a towel.

"You planning on getting dressed anytime soon Sodiepop?"

He chuckled and grinned.

"Sodiepop?"

"Yep. That's your name now."

"I love it." He said sweetly and kissed me before walking out to get dressed. I finished putting on makeup and walked to my room. He was sitting on the bed and gave me a cocky smile.

"Hey y/n, let's make a deal."

"What is it?"

"I won't put grease in my hair today, and you won't wear makeup. Deal?"

I considered it. We probably weren't going out that day so I figured it would be ok.

"Deal." I stuck out my hand and he shook it. I walked back into the bathroom and washed my face. I came out and saw Soda standing by the door with socks and shoes on.

"Ready?" He asked with a cheerful smile.

"Ready for what?" What had I gotten myself into?

"We're going out! I wanna show off my beautiful girlfriend to all of Tulsa." He said kissing my with his hands around his waist.

I panicked and tried to make him want to stay here longer. I tried to heat up the kiss but he caught on and pulled away, cocking an eyebrow.

"Nice try." He smirked and poked me on the nose. I scrunched up my nose and walked away into my room to grab some shoes. I slipped them on and followed him reluctantly out of the house. You really didn't look to different. Soda almost didn't notice when you came out from the bathroom. You however, thought you looked like a completely different person almost. You spent the whole day trying to hide yourself and not stand out, but Soda did his best to make you smile and laugh. You had such a good time you forgot you weren't wearing makeup. Eventually the day ended and you went back home.

"Now was that so bad?" Soda asked, grinning.

"Was what so bad?" You gave him a confused look, then it dawned on you when his smile only grew wider.

"No, you were right." You admitted reluctantly.

"Does that mean you won't wear makeup every day?"

"Maybe not every day, but I'm not stopping entirely."

Soda walked to you and you took a step back. This continued until you had backed into the wall.

"Soda...?" He just smiled and wrapped his arms around your waist. It was so cliche, it was cute. He leaned in like he was going kiss your neck, but whispered in your ear,

"I'm amazed when I look at you. Not just because of your looks, but because of the fact everything I've ever wanted is right in front of me. You make me feel loved. You're there for me when no one else is. You make me laugh, you accept me for who I am. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I feel like you're so much more than just my girlfriend. You're the one person I need to talk to when I've had a bad day, the one person I can rely on to not judge me. You're my rock, my sweetheart, and my best friend. To call you my girlfriend wouldn't do you justice. I just want you, that's all. All your flaws, mistakes, smiles, laughs, jokes, sarcasm, everything. I. Just. Want. You."

By the now you were in tears. Your arms thrown around his neck, with you two hugging each other harder than imaginable.

"S-Soda, that was b-beautiful." You choked out.

"Not as beautiful as the girl in front of me." This just sent you into a whole new round of tears.

"Shhhh" you nuzzled your head into his neck and he rubbed your back as you cried.

"I'm such a baby." You laughed. You leaned back and smiled at Soda. He ran his thumb over your cheek to wipe away your tears.

"A beautiful one." He said smirking. You slapped his arm and laughed.

"You're gonna make me cry again!" I kissed him sweetly and walked around him, realizing I was still in the corner.

"Where are you going?" Soda asked.

"Today was so much fun, but it made me so tired. Then you made me bawl my eyes out, making me exhausted. So I'm going to bed. Care to join me?" He grinned and cocked an eyebrow, making me roll my eyes.

"Did you not just hear me tell you how tired I am?" I asked him.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He walked past me into my bedroom and fell on the bed dramatically.

I laughed at him and slipped into bed after taking off my shoes. I nuzzled my head into his chest and threw my arm around his waist, while he wrapped his arm over my side protectively and tangled our legs together.

"I love you Soda."

"I love you two y/n."
