Trapped by Emotions

Baby Boom!

The other morning, I was informed that Tom was set free by the police. That incident at the graveyard was really unnecessary, but I guess it's hard to control the frustration, just like every other emotion. He was also prescribed the treatments at the psychiatrist which in my opinion, he really needs, but who knows if the psychiatrist will be able to reach inside him. Maybe he is in fact, aware of his behaviour, maybe it is his real intention and if it is so, neither psychiatrist, nor anybody can do anything about that except maybe Trixie, but it is clear that she would only make him do something bad, especially if she has the same interest as he does, then she would definitely not stop him...

          Rosalie and I had breakfast and after we had finished it, I drove us off to work. It was the 18th of July and it is the heart of the season, we imagined that there would sure be a lot of work at the hotel to do, but something unimaginable happened. It seems that someone had broken up into the hotel at night and caused a catastrophe, the hotel was closed due to the circumstances - a receptionist was killed in the night shift, everything was covered by the police and they told us that the killer was still hiding inside one of the rooms, of course nobody heard a shot, nor anything else since everything happened very early in the morning, it was 04:47 a.m. when the general keycard was used, the criminal must have taken it to rob every single one of the vaults in the hotel and then escape to one of the hotel rooms when the sun had risen. However, he is very good with the computers, he hacked the complete system and all of the security cameras were shut down, I thought that it was maybe even one of the staff since it is very suspicious that someone who never worked here knows how to break into the system of a five star hotel.

          The director – miss Tesch and the SWAT team were inside looking for the person who did this, miss Tesch wouldn't have normally been allowed to go inside, but she insisted, she was akin to frenzy. Rosalie and I stood there worried about what would happen and then we heard an explosion that had sounded like C4 and multiple shots from inside the room at the second floor, windows were completely broken by the shot, the criminal then stepped on the window seriously injured, he was probably aware that it is all over for him, SWAT team was forcing him to surrender, but then he started shooting at us, we all lay down on the floor, but Rosalie got shot in her kidney and one of the officers shot the killer in the head, he immediately fell down the window right inside the outer pool. It seems that it wasn't HE at all, it was SHE, she was the receptionist here at the hotel and I knew her very well, she seemed quite nice, but she got fired because of her constant complaining, she was also pregnant and it seems that she did all this because she was poor and wasn't able to raise her baby without a job, so she was looking for revenge, her name was Sally Martins. It is sad, but what she did is completely wrong. She must have been all broken down, but she got her revenge, miss Tesch was killed by the cause of that C4 explosion and one of the man from the SWAT lost his leg.

Rosalie and the SWAT soldier were bleeding badly and they were immediately taken to the hospital by the paramedics. Luckily, Rosalie was alright and she was taken care of, however, a catastrophe had just got worse. We found out that Rosalie was pregnant, she didn't even know that until the doctor had found that out during the treatment, but the baby is dead and doctors had to remove the fetus completely from her, the bullet got it on his way to kidney. All of a sudden, everything seemed so grave. However, the catastrophe had happened and unfortunately, the baby wasn't the only victim, the soldier from the SWAT died on our way to the hospital, he had been bleeding too much and he lost a lot of blood, I expressed my condolences to his family and told them that he died a hero, they were all in tears, but so was I, we hugged each other in the name of our losses. Another thing is that we were left without a job, at least temporary now that the hotel is partly destroyed and it needs time to get him back in the system, furthermore, the director was murdered and many of the guests were hurt, but luckily, none of them died.

Rosalie just couldn't recover from everything that happened, but it wasn't really simple for me neither, I cried like never before, I never wanted to lose Rosalie the way I lost someone who was never even born, but then again, someone who was supposed to be my child. Furthermore, it reminded me of the way I once lost my sister, but now it's even worse, I lost this child because of a psychopath who didn't know how to control frustration. On the other side, I had to calm down, we didn't even know about our baby, I wish the doctor had kept it a secret, we would never have to suffer even more than we did.

After all the events, Rosalie even decided to quit college and even kill herself by cutting her veins. Luckily, she didn't manage to do it, we went through a lot of pain, but you need to look at all the things through a different view, for example, that baby will always be with us in our hearts, guarding and looking at us from  heaven and he or she will always be our angel. However, Rosalie seemed to me as if she had completely lost her mind, it seemed as if she was concerned for something more than just a baby, it seemed like baby was just a trigger for something horrible, unimaginable, maybe even something that she had done. I mean, she was with me more than ever at that period, but she was never happy and we never had the relationship that we used to have before...
