Once our fifteen minutes was up, We headed back to the office.
I was hoping and praying that Will wasn't still on our floor, that way I could avoid the situation that Simone was probably about to instigate.
But ill be damned, things just didn't go the way I wanted.
The two of us walked in the office, and Tom as well as the group of executives were in the conference room, while the rest of my co-workers were whispering about them.
" did you see him though? He's so hot!" I heard one girl whisper.
"I wouldn't mind finding out what's under that suit."
Simone rolled her eyes at their comments and instead followed me to my desk.I sat down, and continued where I left off on my blog post about hairstyles, while she plopped herself down on my desk.
"Why are you still here, Simone?Don't you have work to do?"
Quit being a lazy sack of-
"I don't have anything better to do. Besides, I'd much rather play cupid right now." She replied, smirking like a mischievous child...or a she-devil.
You can guess which way I was leaning.
Simone has no business being in my business, but for some reason chooses do disregard it.I already have my hands full as it is with Max.
" Simone... I don't have time for this." I answered, massaging the tension out of my shoulder.
"Okay."
Simone promptly hopped off my desk with a smile, and sauntered over to her own leaving me to focus on my work. Thank God.
I was beginning to feel like she was going to something that I didn't appreciate.
How right I was.
