Fate is having a blast with me.

I'm supposed to be focused on business right now, but the universe seemed to have other plans.

The image of Raya standing alone in the elevator, legs crossed, the green dress clinging to her body like a second skin.

Damn.

It's seared into my brain like a brand.

And now I can't focus.
...well I'm focusing, but not on the task at hand.

Definitely not on the grey haired man rambling on and on about their arts department.

How the hell I didn't notice her presence in the elevator was beyond me.

But then again, I suppose its because of all the executives packed into that tiny space with us. If only I hadn't chosen to annoy the tour guide.

What was his name?

I knew I didn't like him very much from the moment I met him. But that dislike was only affirmed when he embarrassed Raya in front of everyone.

Oh how I wanted to say something in return.

But I thought better of it.

No One needed to know that we knew each other.

After all, everyone was aware of my reputation. And I'd be damned if they simply assumed that she was one of my flings.

I mean, its not like she could stand being in the same room as me, much less sharing a bed .

I tuned out the tour guide, and went wandering on my own, walking out of the glass doors and into the hallway. The place was obnoxiously huge for such a small company, it was more like a mini mall than the offices of a distribution company. I leaned over the rail and looked down to the floors below, watching people move back and forth, oblivious to my presence.

I heard a laugh, loud and carefree, echoed across the hall, and I looked up.

Damn.

The things I would do...

Stop.

She doesn't want you Will .

The dress she's wearing is too damn tight. The length didn't help either, even though it stopped mid thigh.

Thighs.

Stop!

She's not a piece of meat!

The blonde she's with catches me looking and smirks knowingly, and whispers something in Raya's ear.

Raya looks visibly uncomfortable with whatever the other woman said and slaps her arm lightly before her eyes gravitate over to me. She quickly looks back at the blonde, says something, and the two of them hurry off down the hall somewhere.

I can hear voices coming towards me, as I realise that Grett or whatever his name is, is leading the group else where, and I reluctantly walk back inside the office, still thinking of her.
