The ups and downs

I smiled seeing Oliver, he always had that effect on me. "Is this the reason you so desperately wanted me?" I saw that smug smirk crawl on his face. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Yeah you wish lover boy. I was lonely. Love me." I put my arms out to cuddle him. He smiled and shook his head," did I tell you you annoy me?" He laughed. "What you thought this shit was a booty call?" We both laughed together.

I popped in Jaws and we both sad on the couch and watched it, soon Oliver's breathing slowed signaling he was asleep. He had a light snore that was honestly adorable. The past two days I haven't been sleeping so well, i wonder why.

I got off the couch slowly to not disturb Oli sleeping. I walked into the kitchen to get some water, suddenly I heard a scream causing me to drop my glass and sprint to Oliver.

"Are you okay Oli?" I began to panic a bit and it showed in my voice. He looked bewildered and confused but soon he realized where he was. He took a few deep breaths then let out, "I get night terrors, I'm sorry if I scared you." I frowned," I'm sorry." "Don't be I've had them my whole life." "What happened?" He raised an eyebrow at me. "To make you scream?" He nodded.

"Well it starts off like they always do, happy. We were on a date in the park everything was perfect. But soon it became dark very quickly, you kept complaining about wanting to go home but I told you no. Next thing you know two guys took us into this creepy shed and started to beat you and made me watch. Soon they shot you and I started freaking out. Than they looked at me and said 'don't worry lover boy, you can join her too' and bang. Then I woke up screaming."

I just stared at him, maybe the break in affected him more than I thought. I went over and hugged him," I'm sorry, just remember this I'm always right so you should totally listen to me." I said with a sarcastic undertone, this made both of us laugh. Just what I wanted him to calm down. I looked at the clock which read 4:28 am damn I need sleep.

Soon Oliver was sleeping while holding me, but my brain wouldn't let me sleep. The intruder scenario kept playing over and over in my head, what would of happened to me if Oliver hadn't come? Would I be alive to even think this? I shook my head why must my thoughts never escape me.

8:00 am. I guess I should made coffee as this is another sleepless night and I need something to keep me moving, I have freaking work at 12.

9:00 am, Oliver was still asleep. I guess he needed it, I already moved onto my third cup of coffee. I should leave Oli some he'll probably want some.

10:30 am. What the fuck how is his ass still asleep. Well hopefully he won't mind if I play some music. Why not While She Sleeps- Silence Speaks?  I smiled well I mean it was a great relationship while it lasted.

10:45 am. I plugged in my speaker and found the song.. WHERE IS YOUR HEART?! CAN WE BEAT THIS IF WE ALL...Tear the boarders Break the walls, together as one.....ARE WE ALL ALONE?! I jumped on my coffee table "IF YOUR GONNA ACCUSE ME OF TELLING YOU WHAT YOU ALREADY KNEW ITS THE SAME SONG SUNG WITH A DIFFERENT TRUTH AND ALL OF US FORGET IT COS OUR HEADS INSIDE THE NOOSE, THEY WILL MANIPULATE THE MASSES AGAIN!!" I aggressively sang alone while dancing on the coffee table.

Oliver bolted up, "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!"  "WAR WILL CEASE WHEN WE REFUSE TO FIGHT!" "IM GONNA KILL YOU!" That was my cue to start to sprint to the end of the hallway into the bathroom with a grumpy Oliver following close behind. "OPEN UP YOURE GONNA GET IT!" "Why do we ignore the warning signs?!" "STOP SPEAKING IN LYRICS." "...I THINK THE SILENCE SPEAKS VOLUMES!" I heard him grunt through the blaring music.

After the song ended I decided to come out and Oli wasn't waiting for me, he probably went home since I annoyed him. I shrugged and walked in my room to grab some work clothes. Next thing I knew I was tackled into my bed. "I told you I'd get ya!" Oliver attacked me with kisses. I giggled like a kid," Haha Oli this is so not what I expected." He sat up oh really?" He then began to tickle me. "S-stop Oli, I have work." I managed to squeak out between laughter.

Eventually he got off of me and let me get ready. "There's some coffee in the kitchen and some fruit of you want it." He nodded and went to the kitchen. Time to make myself look presentable.

Soon work was over and I started to walk home, it was only 6pm but basically pitch black and freezing. I saw two people walking down the street Melanie and Mark, they were probably on a date how adorable. "Hey you love birds out on the town are we?" Mel rolled her eyes, "haha very funny, what are you doing out here. Is Oli around some corner?" I shook my head," no I just got back from work going on a nice stroll home." "How exciting, hey tell Oliver that I want Call of Duty back." Matt budded in. "Okay, well sorry if I disturbed you two see you around."

I got home and texted Oliver, hey give Mark his game back or else! That should sound threatening. I made myself some cereal and sat at my table. I smiled to myself, great family dinner. A tear rolled down my check sometimes I feel so lonely.

I checked my phone and saw the text from Daisy. I should just return the game so I don't forget. I took a quick run to Mark's house and gave it to his mom then ran back home.

"Hey Oli I have some girl troubles can you help me?" Ben asked when I got back. "Sure like what?" "Well there's this girl who I really like but I don't know if she likes me or not, how can I tell?" I thought about it, then thought about what Daisy does" Well she would want to be around you and she'll always joke with you. They'll like spending time with you and just talking sometimes y'know?" He nodded," okay thanks big bro." He walked off to his room and that was the end of it.

I woke up at 3 am to another night terror, I've been getting them a lot since the incident. I decided to text Daisy, i can't sleep, i wish you were here :( within a minute she responded, at least you have people in your house XP I'm in the creepy ass old house alone. But I'm sorry you can't sleep my love. I shook my head, she always apologized. True, don't apologize. Why are you up at this hour? I um haven't really slept for like well this is day 3.... damn. That's not good Babe! You need your sleep! I could sense her roll her eyes. Hey I'm not dead yet:)you should get to sleep though.       Yeah, promise me you will get some sleep please.   Oli can I come over? I keep hearing strange noise and it's scary af. 0.0 i laughed a bit, she may seem tough but she's just a scardy cat. Sure, I'll come get you be there in five.
