We only have one week. One fucking week left. The time flew. I know we are prepared. It's just I don't think I can do it. I'm not good with singing in front of people. How am I going to do this. You'll fail and everyone will make fun of you. Daisy will dump you. You'll be alone.

"Oli? Yo Oliver? Hello?" Daisy lightly hit my face interrupting my train of thought. I looked at her and continued to look at the ground. I could sense her frowning, she knew I was nervous.

"Hey stop zoning out Sykes, and don't psych yourself out." I heard her do a small giggle clearly pleased with her pun. I smirked. Her laugh was adorable.

"Sorry." I mumbled. "Do you wanna go through it again?" I looked at her, she looked just as terrified as I felt. She nodded her head and we begun.

Ever since the end of November approached we've been skipping lunch to practice. We've decided it's better to practice all we can before the concert.

"Hey Oli?" I glanced over and raised an eyebrow. "If you do good for the concert do you wanna celebrate?" She had me interested. "How so?" A smirk crawled onto my face. "We could like see a movie or something fun like that." That's not what I was expecting exactly.

"Sure, that'd be fun I guess." I looked around outside to make sure no one was there. I then kissed her in the booth. Her lips tasted of strawberries. I pulled away and scratched the back of my neck.

She just kinda smiled at me. "Do you wanna-" "Let's do it!" I interrupted. "Get lunch?" She laughed. I rolled my eyes," I guess so." We both walked to the caf, haven't been here in a while.

We made our way to our usual table, Chris looked up. "Hey man haven't seen you here for a while. How was your practicing?" " it was fine I guess, we needed a break." I looked over at Daisy already starting up a conversation with Melanie.

Her beautiful blond hair bounced when she laughed. She turned around and looked at me," are you okay?" I shook my head realizing I've been staring at her for a bit too long. "Yeah, just can't help myself from staring at you." I have her a goofy smile.

Lunch ended and I walked to Spanish, I've always hated it. Give James used to sit with me and still bothers me from a far. I never really understand why he blames his brothers suicide on me. But I let James fuck with me because I guess that is how he copes with everything.

"Hey Daisy Duke!" Chris said smiling. I don't get his nickname but I just go with it.

"Yo Chrissss! Excited for Spanish?" I said walking with him. "As always!" We both exploded with laughter. We both hated Spanish class.

Spanish felt like it took forever to go by. I just want to go to the dress rehearsal after school today. Hopefully Oli doesn't forget it.

I walked out of Spanish class and saw Oli. I started to run through all the people and jumped on his back. "OLIIIIIII!" I screamed mid air. He started to laugh," Someone's excited to go home." Oh wow he forgot, shocker.

"We have the dress rehearsal Oliver Michael Sykes. Did someone forget?" He stopped dead in his tracks. His answer:yes. He grunted and walked to the auditorium carrying me.

"Okay everyone we have one week until our concert! Who's excited?" No response. "Great so the class will sing together first and we end on the duet. So everyone on stage for vocal warm ups."

We piled on stage and stood in our spots. We sang our songs together and soon Oliver and we're alone. No one has heard us yet, unless they've eased dropped on us. I could feel my knees buckle and my face becoming extra pale.

Oliver held my hand and the music started. He handled his parts like a champ. Then it was my turn to join in. I hate my life.

Everything went well if I do say so myself. But everyone was silent. We sucked didn't we? It's all my fault.

The teacher came to us and she was crying? I looked at Oli who looked as concerned as me. She got on stage and hugged the both of us.

"You two were a-amazing! I've never heard so much emotion and and I'm sorry," she wiped her tears away." You two have the most beautiful voices I have heard and when they are together it's magical."

Soon the chorus class was clapping for us. I had a slight smile on my face and Oliver was grinning ear to ear. We sat down and got lectured on proper concert attire for the next 15 minutes.

"Daisy! I never knew you were that good! I'm shocked, it's a pleasant surprise." Mary exclaimed to me. I felt two hands on my shoulders, "good work kid!" The voice matched Andrew.

I guess Oli and I are good together. The concert now seemed exciting. Watch out world here comes the power couple.
