Catching Up

(Shadow's P.O.V)

       It was a few hours later and Mrs Pridemore had finished settling in so she gave me a real quick call and told me that she'd come to the arena. I didn't object to this so I agreed to let her come over here.

     Right now I was training in my Shadow Dragon form trying to master the multiple attacks that Syn taught me. I kept training until Mrs Pridemore walked into the training area and stopped mid punch as she had got in front of me. I put my hand down and returned back to normal saying, ''You okay.''

''Yeah, I'm fine,'' She said, ''So who else knows about the fusion between you and Syn?''

''Everyone does,'' I said, ''They saw it happen with their own eyes.''

''So that means you can go into the other form Syn has?'' She asked.

''Yeah, but I'd rather not use it if I can avoid it,'' I said.

''Why what would happen if you used it?'' She asked.

''If I used it for a long period of time then I'll just want to make the world go into ruin and destroy it,'' I said.

''Why would that happen?'' She asked.

''Besides using Negative energy to give me strength in that form it could also destroy me and the Earth,'' I said, ''and the chance that I would turn completely evil to the point of no return.''

''So avoid it as long as you can,'' She said, ''I don't want to lose you to the Negative energy.''

''I'll try to avoid it,'' I said, ''But why do you think you're going to lose me or thinking that I would leave you?''

''Why are you asking?'' She asked.

''I want to know why you're worried about me leaving you or losing me to the Negative energy,'' I said.

''I'm worried about losing you cause my dad died when I was younger,'' She said, ''and Mom is sick with the cancer she has and I'm afraid that she won't survive it. I just don't want to lose someone else who's important to me.''

''You won't lose me ever,'' I said, ''and I promise it.''

    Mrs Pridemore and I walked out of the arena and we walked around the village seeing who was here at this moment. We didn't see anyone that was here at the moment so we walked to the main house which was kinda mine and Caeleigh's, but it's really hers since she lives here full time. I live in here part time cause I have the cabin that's not far from here.

     As Mrs Pridemore and I got inside the house I said, ''Any questions that you need answered.''

''Just a few,'' She said.

''Go ahead and ask me,'' I said.

''Will you train me how to summon a monster like you?'' She asked.

''Sure thing,'' I said, ''Any monster in particular?''

''Yeah Red- eyes Black Dragon,'' She said.

''I see going for Cleo's signature monster,'' I said, ''Anything else.''

''Second question,'' She said, ''Why are we in here and not in your Cabin?''

''It would've taken a few minutes to get there,'' I said, ''and I live here with Caeleigh part time cause of my Cabin.''

''Okay,'' She said, ''How come you live here part time?''

''To keep an eye on things,'' I said.

''What things?'' She asked.

''Endangered Species that live here in this village,'' I said, ''White tigers, Bengal Tigers, Polar Bears, Lions, etc.''
