part 24

(Hannah's P.O.V)

      After Logan walked out of the gym I was thinking about what he said about him being Death, and it shocked me at what he said about him not being able to die. I watched the fight between him and Hillary and then God and Jesus. He deposed of Hillary and Jesus quickly, but he battled God one on one and took his time with the fight. He said something about him being the devil incarnate, but first he said he was Death and now the Devil.

      So after he walked out Maryselle followed him outside while everyone just spent their time talking about him being an even bigger freak than before and some said how he saved them. Those who said he saved them were okay by me, but those others weren't.

      Right now though I was out in gym lobby holding onto a necklace that Logan made for me, and thinking about how much he had changed my life.

--Flashback--

     It's been two weeks after Logan came back from whatever he was doing and I've noticed that he's been quieter than before. Every time I had seen him he had his hood up and black clothing on. I was in his homeroom so I should know he was more upset and then one day he had his head down on his desk while Dallas Glover was trying to get his attention by saying somethings.

      When he finally raised his head his eyes were red and black, and he stood up before saying, ''Shut up, Dallas. I've had it with your B.S''

      Then he proceeded to walk out of the room and he didn't walk back into the room. I asked Caeleigh, ''What's up with him?''

''While he was gone he fell in love with someone named May,'' She said. ''and by the end she lost her life.''

''How come he won't tell anyone?'' I asked.

''People will call him heartless if he told them,'' She said. ''Idiots.''

''How did she die?'' I asked.

''She died protecting him from a sword,'' She said.

''Aren't you going to do anything?'' I asked.

''I've tried everything I could,'' She said. ''Nothing's working.''

''Can I give it a try?'' I asked.

''Yeah,'' She said. ''Try to comfort him, but do it after class.''

''Okay,'' I said.

     Then I had to wait for fifty-five minutes before getting up and leaving the class when the bell rang. I walked out into the hallway and walked down the hallway, and once I saw Logan I saw him with his head against the wall looking at the ceiling and no one was paying him attention. He had tears streaming down from his eyes and in his hand was a necklace that was opened. I walked over to him and asked, ''May I sit next to you, Logan?''

''Go ahead,'' He said not looking at me.

I sat next to him and wrapped my arm around his shoulder. He asked, ''What are you doing?''

''You look like you could use some company,'' I said.

''I don't get it,'' He said. ''Everyone else stays away from me except for Caeleigh and Lily. Now you what's up?''

''Caeleigh told me you lost someone that was important to you,'' I said. ''Mind telling me the story?''

''Not at all,'' He said. ''While I was gone I met a girl named May and I fell in love with her when I first met her. Some time before we went to Egypt we kissed and fell in love, but that was after I lost control of myself and before something else. Skip to when we first met Beast. That was the time she lost her arm during that fight, and we had to make a retreat from him because he was fighting to kill. Then you have the final battle and during that one I killed someone named Venjix and after that I helped May fight Beast. As the three of us fought I managed to take Beast's power, but he still ended up killing May by the end of the fight.''
