Unleashing the Darkness within part I

(Shadow's P.O.V)

     I woke up from a night of wonderful sleep and something else which I thought was a dream until I looked over to the side and saw Cassidi sleeping next to me. Then I realized how right I was with my drink tasting a bit weird. I put my head into the pillow and sighed lightly. I lifted myself up and sat up from laying down, but before I could stand up I felt Cassidi wrap her arms around me having her breasts touch my back. I looked at her before kissing her cheek and saying, ''That was real sneaky of you to put a drop of lust potion in my drink.''

''You're not mad are you?'' She asked.

''I would be,'' I said. ''but we both enjoyed it so no I'm not mad.''

''Is it okay if I rest for today?'' She asked.

''Go ahead,'' I said. ''Though I'm not going to lay around all day.''

''I'm not either but I'm going to rest for a little bit,'' She said.

''Okay,'' I said. ''If you need me I'll be in the shadow realm.''

''Okay,'' She said before laying back down.

      I stood up and started to get ready for the day. As I finished getting ready I walked out of the cabin letting Cassidi relax because she needed the rest after the fun we had last night. I walked out of the cabin and held the millennium rod in my hand and pointing it at a tree before opening a portal to the Shadow Realm. I stepped through it and appeared right next to the house that was my home for the first few days of my life.

      Then I began going through the rubble to see nothing but destroyed photos, some of which had Alex and Morgan in them when they were younger. Berserk appeared next to me and asked, ''So how was it?''

''Could you be a little more specific?'' I asked.

''I'm talking about you fucking Cassidi,'' He said. ''So how was it?''

''Actually it was fine,'' I said. ''We both enjoyed it.''

       He smiled and disappeared from my sight. I got back to work looking through the ruins and found more destroyed photos. 'I'm glad I killed Hillary at least I showed everyone that I can't die,' I thought putting my hand up to where my heart is.

      I removed my hand and looked at the photos before placing them in a pile with the rest of the photos. As I continued looking through the ruins I found more photos of mom when she was younger. I remembered what she said to me the last time I saw her alive.

''Some times it's okay to give into your darkness for the benefit of others,'' She said. ''Zach did the same to protect you from Neptune. That's why Dark Spector took him over to save him and you from death.''

      I stopped when I made sure all the photos were in the pile together. I summoned a metal tin and grabbed the small pile of photos I put the photos into the tin and closed it after putting the last photo into the tin, and after I closed it I made it disappear from my hands. I started to look through the rubble some more, but stopped when something caught my attention. I moved a piece of stone off of whatever and found a book with the title Legend of the lost city of Atlantis. 'I didn't know about this,' I thought as I opened the book up to the first page to see a language that I didn't understand. 'The fuck is this shit?'

     I flipped through the pages to see it more languages than just the first language. I stopped when I reached a page with three knights on it each of them fighting one gigantic serpent. 'That's a leviathan,' I thought before looking at the bottom of the page. 'It's not just a leviathan but the first leviathan.'
