(Shadow's P.O.V)

      It's Monday which means another week of school is beginning, but for McKenzie and I it's the start of the first week at a new school for both of us. We both had to wake up a bit earlier so we didn't get to say good bye to everyone else when we left cause it would take two hours to get there to the school.

      As McKenzie and I arrived at her house where her sister, Bailey, and mom were waiting for us. I stopped the Skull cycle and said hello to her mom, who I haven't seen at all before. She asked, ''McKenzie who is this?''

''Mom this my boyfriend, Logan Rose,'' McKenzie said.

''Oh so this is him,'' She said, ''Nice to meet you Logan.''

''Nice to meet you to, Mrs Walker,'' I said.

     A little bit of time passed before McKenzie, Bailey, and I got ready to leave and go to school. Right as we were getting ready to leave Bailey had to get into the side car as McKenzie and I sat on the cycle. I drove off as the time got near seven. It would take twenty minutes or so to get there so we had to leave early.

      Once we got to the school parking lot I parked in the very back and the three of us got ready to go as I kicked the stand down and walked with McKenzie and Bailey so McKenzie and I could get our schedules for the day.

     We walked inside of the school and McKenzie and I walked to the office to get our schedules for the year, or few days in case Cameron decided to attack us. We walked into the office and waited for our schedules to be printed and given to us. That's when I felt something was going to go wrong some where. I touched the two sides of my white gem that was on my wrist and spoke into it saying, ''Be careful for the day Sydney I don't want you getting hurt in case things go awry.''

     I let go of the sides and put my hands together thinking about what I said to Sydney. I said this, ''I will never die on you and it's a promise.''

     I hope I can keep that promise to her. Then my mind went back to when I came back from the first journey and saw Lily for the first time in a few months. She was the one person that could keep me calm and not keep me from killing anyone.

     When I felt Kenzie tap my shoulder the principal came out with our schedules in hand, and she gave them to us as she said, ''These will be your classes this year, and I'd like to welcome the both of you to the school. In a few minutes someone will take you both to your classes and stay with you throughout the day.''

''Thank you,'' I said.

     I looked over my schedule and noticed I was in several classes that I didn't have at Brighton. I looked at the room numbers and saw that all my classes are all over the school. 'Great,' I thought.

     Kenzie and I stayed seated until a blond haired woman came over to us and showed us our classes. We didn't go to three of our classes, but we did go to the last one for day.

     As we got to the classroom for our fourth period I felt the air change around us as we entered. 'What's the hell am I feeling?' I thought, 'It can't be the darkness final resort can it? It can't be. No one has used it for a thousand years.'

     McKenzie and I walked into class and saw an old man standing across us, and his aura was pure darkness. He looked directly at me and I was sent flying out of the classroom and into the hallway. 'Okay what was that,' I thought.

''For the Shadow user who beat Lord Octomus you're pretty weak,'' He said.

''Who in the hell are you?'' I asked.
