The Chronicles

Part 25

(Erica's P.O.V)

      It's Monday of the week after Winterfest and I had just walked into school not noticing that people were looking around to see if Logan was here. I heard multiple people ask the same question and didn't respond to them because part of me knew that they were going to try something.

      Instead of going to my first period I walked outside and sat on one of the benches thinking about something that had to do with Logan a tad bit. 'In the people's eyes of this school Logan's the bad guy but he isn't,' I thought. 'He fought to protect everyone who sided with him or are his friends. Though I didn't expect him to live through the heart getting ripped out by Hillary.'

     My thoughts were interrupted by several monsters growling, and I looked up to see three in front of me. Then something strange happened the monsters turned into humans and sat in front of me. The one in the middle was a man with black hair and hazel eyes, the left one was a girl with grey hair and green reptilian eyes, and the right one was a man with dark blue hair and startling green eyes. I asked, ''Who are you three?''

''I'm Lucius,'' Said the middle one.

''I'm Blink,'' Said the left one.

''And I'm Grey,'' Said the right one.

''Why are you three here?'' I asked.

''I came to enroll in this school,'' Blink said.

''We're just here because we wanted to be,'' Lucius said speaking for both himself and Grey.

''That's not why you two are here,'' Blink said.

''Fine,'' Lucius siad. ''We're here to see Shadow. We have something to tell him.''

''I'm sorry but I don't know where he is,'' I said. ''He hasn't been here since Friday.''

''Then where is he?'' Lucius asked.

''Don't know,'' I said. ''He left before we got back home.''

''Then the next time you see him tell him that two of the leaders of monsters want to talk,'' Lucius said.

''Why can't you tell him yourself?'' I asked.

''Like you said we don't know where he is,'' Grey said. ''So tell him for us will you.''

''Yeah,'' I said. ''So why is Blink wanting to go here?''

''Don't know,'' Lucius and Grey said in unison.

''Well we better leave,'' Lucius said getting up followed by Grey and Blink.

     Then Blink disappeared and both Grey and Lucius walked away like nothing was wrong. I got up and walked into back into the school going to my first period class.

      As I walked through the hallway I noticed even more people looking behind me. I turned around to see Blink with her eyes not as scary as they were before and her hair tied into a ponytail. 'Don't be fooled you idiots,' I thought. 'She's a monster in disguise.'

     I turned around and began walking to my first period, and once I got there I sat in a desk.I started to think about what Logan told me two weeks ago and how he almost lost it followed by Friday when he fought not only Hillary but God and Jesus as well.

--Flashback--

      I was walking beside Logan and he was acting a bit different after he came back from meeting with the monsters. I asked, ''You okay?''

''Yeah I'm fine just thinking,'' He said.

      Over the past few weeks he started wearing a cloth that was wrapped on his hand covering the palm and back of his hand and then it covered his forearm. He said, ''You're possibly wanting to know what happened when I met with monsters.''
