The Chronicles

Part 10

(Shadow's P.O.V)

     It's Monday and that means school and going back for me would be a living hell but not like I care people will be mad at me for being alive. When I woke up this morning I knew what Nexus was planning and I had to tell the others but I would have to do that after school today before anything else.

     After I had gotten dressed in a white t shirt with black weighted clothing underneath, nothing over my right eye, since it healed over the night, some black jeans, and I had on a black long coat hiding the symbols on my arms and neck, which meant I was in my arrancar form. I had my school bag on my side, the drago dagger in pen form, of course, in my pocket, and the drago morpher on my wrist. All I had to do was wait on Sydney to get out here so we can leave. Everyone else was still trying to get over their shock so they were staying in the village for the day and going back tomorrow.

     Before I heard the foot steps I swiped my right hand to the right and caused my mask to vanish. Then I whistled for the skull cycle when I heard the footsteps behind me. Sydney got next to me as the skull cycle was still warming up. She said, ''I don't see why we take this every morning.''

''You don't have to be on it with me,'' I said.

''Yeah that's not happening,'' She said. ''I'm going with you.''

''Okay,'' I said.

     I took my bag from my side and placed it on the ground and took my long coat off. I handed it to Sydney and said, ''Go ahead and wear it. I don't need it.''

''I'm not going to ask so thanks,'' She said putting it on.

''No problem,'' I said.

     I grabbed my bag and slung it over my shoulder. Then we both got onto the skull cycle and I drove off going to school and thinking about how this day is going to turn out.

     Once we got into the school parking lot I parked in my spot and kicked the kickstand down so Sydney could get off. She walked to the building while I just stayed on the cycle a bit longer thinking about how it's going down. 'Knowing Kim she'd be mad at me,' I thought. 'Others like Hannah will be glad I'm back.'

    I got off and headed to the building wanting this day to move along. I walked to the doors and opened the right one letting myself in. I walked down the hallway and to my first period class getting stares from some people in the hallway. I heard them talking, ''Shouldn't he be dead?''

''Yeah,'' One said. ''He's supposed to be, but I'm guessing he just doesn't know when to stay dead.''

''Leave the school dead man or else,'' One said getting in my face.

''Why should I?'' I asked.

''If you don't you'll learn what it means to die for good,'' He said.

    I had enough of his bullshit so I backhanded him into the wall without effort and continued to my first period. 'I don't care what people think hopefully they don't make me mad to the point where I use my resurreccion without meaning to,' I thought.

     Once I got to first period I sat down in my seat and started blocking people out. Then I remembered that Sydney had my long coat which had my drago dagger in the right pocket. I got out of my seat and walked towards her room.

     When I got to her room I saw my long coat on her chair and she was nowhere in my eye sight but she was in the classroom. I walked into the classroom and saw her doing something that I didn't pay attention to I was just here to get my pen back for the day. I walked over to my jacket and went for the right pocket and grabbed my pen instantly. I put the coat down and walked out of the classroom and going to my own.
