Unleashing the Darkness within Part II

(Cassidi's P.O.V)

        It's been a few days since Logan jumped into that hole and I could tell that everyone missed him. We all know that he did it for a reason and he didn't want to hurt us at all so I could see why he did it in the first place. The only two people who missed him really bad are Sydney and Hannah.

        Right now though I just got home from school and I started training like I've done for the past two days. Reason why was because Unistorm tossed us around like rag dolls and made our training worthless. 'He was only that powerful because he waited for his power to be fully restored,' I thought. 'but even when he wasn't at his full power Logan had trouble fighting Unistorm. Though something tells me that Cameron survived that final attack. Even though I wasn't there I could feel the attack, and I have a feeling that Cameron survived that attack while Unistorm was completely destroyed.'

        As I trained I noticed my movements get quicker and my speed increased. I continued to train as the day turned into night and didn't stop until I heard something behind me. I turned around to see a black haired girl with a scar on her right cheek and a tattoo of some sorts on her arm. I asked, ''Who are you and why are you here?''

''Name's Anna,'' She said.

''I know you,'' I said. ''Logan killed you. That means Nexus brought you back.''

''So observant Cassidi,'' A voice said.

         A figure appeared next to Anna and I instantly recognized him as Logan, but something was off with him. I asked, ''Logan how are you here? You should be in the Earth's Core.''

''I still am,'' He said. ''Though now it's almost time for me to break out of the core.''

''If you do..'' I was stopped by Logan raising his hand.

''I'll leave the core end of story,'' He said.

''Then why is Anna here?'' I asked. ''If Nexus brought her back she'd want us dead.''

''I talked to her before the battle with Unistorm,'' He said. ''She told me that she had turned her back on Nexus and the others and followed behind Grizzaka.''

''Honestly it was the best choice for me to take,'' Anna said.

''I don't blame you,'' Logan said. ''He stayed in my head for a year at least.''

''So you know everything about him then?'' I asked.

''Yup,'' Logan said. ''So I know he saved Cameron at the last second.''

''What will we do?'' I asked.

''Leave Cameron to Sydney or me,'' He said. ''Tell her in secret and tell her that she'll see me in a day or two.'' Just then his form flickered and for a second I could see a raging monster. ''I have to take my leave.''

''What about Black, Hugh, Nexus, and the other person?'' I asked.

''They're after me,'' He said. ''So leave the three of them to me.''

''What will I do until you return, Logan?'' Anna asked.

''Keep an eye on everyone from a distance,'' He said.

''Will do,'' She said.

''Remember what I said Cassidi tell Sydney that I'll be back,'' he said.

''I will,'' I said. ''But why her why not anyone else?''

''Ask her about it,'' He said disappearing.

             Following behind him Anna disappeared as well. For me my training was over so I walked back to the village and saw Sydney in the arena training like she's been doing. 'How do I tell her about Logan coming back?' I thought as I looked around. 'No one's around so just tell her.'
