Ch. 1 Escaping

Standing in the doorway of my aunt's bedroom, I watch her scream in agony. Some servants were in her room, blocking the view of why she is screaming. However as soon as I hear those cries I run out into the corridor of our castle. How could this happen to Caspian and I? Now we were no longer safe within the borders of our castle. With our aunt bearing a child, uncle Miraz will have our heads.
    Suddenly I bump into something, but it turns out to be someone. A man covered in a black cloak. I look at his face and recognize him instantly. "My god, Terrain! Are you alright dear?" He asks in a concerning voice.
    "No professor, I'm not. My aunt beared a child not long ago, this night." Tears threaten to fall down my pale face.
    "I know. I was on my way to give you and your brother the news. Let us retrieve him and get you two out of here." With that we headed to Caspiens room. Finally making it to the west wing, we open Caspians bedroom door. Inside a grand bed with curtains flowing from each side of the bed. I move the curtains aside to see my sleeping older brother. The Professor put a firm hand on Caspians mouth, waking him up instantly. His eyes go wide as he sees the professor and I. With relief, he turns around mumbling "five more minutes" in his spanish accent.
    "Won't be watching the stars tonight, my prince. Come we must hurry." He shakes Caspian awake and drags him out of bed.
    "Terrain, what's going on?"
    "Our aunt has beared a child Caspian."
    "To a son" the professor added as he opens Caspians wardrobe and the escape door inside it. "Come!"
    "Caspian come on." I say getting one of his cloaks. Caspian looks out the crack of the wardrobe, only to see General Glozelle and his men march into the room. They begin to shoot the arrows from their crossbows at Caspians bed. I put my hand over my mouth and gasp. They would have killed him.
    "They would have killed us, Caspian." I whisper so quiet that only he can hear.
    "I am not going to let that happen" he says putting his hands on both sides of my face before giving me a well needed hug.
    We follow the professor as we run down the stairs and down the corridors of the west wing. We head for the armory. There, Caspian puts a vest over his sleepwear and grabs a sword. Professor puts a cloak over Caspiens shoulders and started to head for the stabbles. He lead one horse out and tells us to head for the woods.
    "The woods?" Caspian asks.
    "Why?" I ask, knowing that the woods were a dangerous place. Especially at night.
    "They won't follow you there." He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a wrapped item. "It has taken me many years to find this." I reach out for the item and place it in my pocket. "Do not use it except at your greatest need." he warned.
    "Will we ever see you again?" Caspian asks, looking the professor dead in the eyes.
    The professor looks between the both of us. "I dearly hope so my prince and princess. There is so much more I meant to tell you. Everything you know is about to change."
    "Close the drawbridge!" A soldier yells in the distance.
    "Now go." The professor pats the horse. I take hold of Caspians waist while we ride through the castle grounds.
    "Halt! Halt!" Soldiers yell all around us. However, when they were holding spears at us I let go with one hand and grab a spear, knocking the soldiers on their backs. We ride across the bridge as fireworks go off.
    Caspian and I look back at our home. Knowing that the fireworks were for the child, we rode off into the distance.
    Not to long after, soldiers started to come after us. My grip tightened on Caspian as we rode through the land. They weren't far behind, but we had a good enough lead. Caspian headed into a forest.
    "Do you think they will follow?" I ask.
    "I do not know, but I hope not."
    We rode up a mountain, and across gravel. Once we saw the water up ahead, we had no choice but to ride through. The water was deep, it reached up to our waists. Nor did the water help with being cold.
    I look behind us, however the sight does not bring me joy. I see the general and his men emerge from the forest.
    "Caspian hurry!"
    We finally made it to the woods. The path was rough, with each jump the horse made, my grip loosened on Caspian. With one more leap of the horse, I fall hard. My back begins to ache from the immense pain. I sit up only to notice Caspian laying on the ground not far from me.
    "Terrain!" He calls.
    "Over here." I say standing up and heading towards him. I reach him and sit down.
    "What happened to you?"
    "Bumped my head on a branch and fell off the horse." I smile at him. He smiles back. Suddenly a light turns on in a nearby tree. Two dwarfs come out. Wait dwarfs? There suppose to be extinct. All narnians are.
    "They've seen us." one states. The other just holds a tiny sword. Caspian looks back to his sword but the dwarf with his, comes hurtling towards us. I back up but as I do I feel the item the professor gave me in my pocket. I take it out quickly and unwrap it. The dwarf looks at me but before he can act, the sound of horses are heard.
    "Take care of them" says the one with the sword. The dwarf goes to fight the telmarines while the other one comes toward us. The item I unwrapped was a horn in the shape of a lion's head. Just as the dwarf came close to us I blew it.
    "No!" the dwarf yells and hits Caspian over the head before heading to me. However I am grabbed by one of the soldiers. "No! Caspian!" I yell and try to fight back. The soldier must have been really frustrated with me, because the next second I was unconscious.

Wow guys first chapter done!!! I'm so proud of myself. I'm literally so busy with school and writing my other stories that I thought Id never get this done! I just watched this movie for the first time two nights ago and Peter and Edmund are so hot! I love Peters long blonde hair and Edmunds eyes.
