One after the other, the catapults are destroyed by the tree roots. "For Aslan!" Peter yells before we all charge at the Telmarines. We chase them down towards the river where Aslan is waiting next to Lucy across the bridge. The Telmarines are surrounded.
"Charge!" the Lord states while racing across the bridge, some of the soldiers are in the water. Aslan then lets out this loud roar which makes the water begin to move. The Telmarines begin to race back across the bridge when all the water forms into a man.
"That's brilliant." I state. Edmund smiles and takes my hand in his. One by one every soldier jumps off the bridge with the exception of the Lord. the water man lifts up the bridge and swallows the Lord, then disappears. The fight is over.

"Surrender your weapons." Peter states to all Telmarine soldiers. Susan, Peter, Edmund, Caspian and I walk through the river across to wear Aslan and Lucy are. Trumpkin I see from afar is making sure each soldier has no weapon.
The five of us kneel in front of them, showing our respects and gratitude. "Rise, kings and queens of Narnia." Everyone rises except for Caspian and I. "All of you." my brother and I glance at each other before we rise.
"I do not think I am ready." Caspian says.
"Me either."
"Its for that very reason I know you are." Aslan states in a monotone voice.
We begin to hear music from behind. Reepicheep is being carried forward by his family, he is severely injured. Lucy makes her way to him, grabbing her cordial, and placing a drop into the rats mouth. He gasps for breath and then thanks Lucy.
"Hail, Aslan! It is a great honor to be in..." he trips and falls, that's when I notice he doesn't have a tail. Poor Reepicheep. "Oh! I'm completely out of countenance. I must crave your indulgence for appearing in this unseemly fashion." He turns to Lucy, "uh... perhaps a drop more?"
"I don't think it does that."
"We can have a go!" He says hopefully.
Aslan chuckles, "it becomes you well, small one."
"All the same great king. I regret that I must redraw, for a tail is the honor and glory of a mouse." He takes out his sword, ready to give it up.
"Perhaps you think too much of your honor, friend." Reepicheep then defends how its not just about his honor but about balance and how it helps him climb. His family states that they would cut off their tails as well.
"Not for the sake of your dignity, but for the love of your people." Aslan says, before magically making a tail appear on the end of Reepicheep. Everyone laughs. He thanks him for his tail and how it will be a great reminder of his huge humility.
"Now, where is this dear little friend you've told me so much about?" We all turn our heads to Trumpkin who looks over at us before coming our way. He kneels in front of the great lion who roars at him. Lucy laughs and asks if he believes her now.
It was a long day. For the rest of the evening, we took care of the soldiers and gave the Narnians back their home, and took back our throne. The next day we threw a parade, Caspian and I rode in the front, on horses while the Kings and Queens were behind us. It felt good having our kingdom back.
Edmund and I later that night watched the fireworks from the guard tower where we jumped off of a week before. It was a magical night filled with laughter, joy and smiles.
