My body is held between the talons of a Gryphon. Peter, Caspian, Queen Susan and I are waiting for Edmunds signal before we storm Uncle Miraz's castle. Soon enough Ed flashes his torch, signaling us to come. My Gryphon, Ludwig, flies us towards Ed as Caspian wants me to be safe. Ludwig places me upon the tower where Edmund is and joins battle. I see Caspian take out a soldier and Queen Susan shout one with an arrow. Peter lands safely on the castle grounds and slashes a soldiers stomach. "Our plans working so far." I nervously say. Ed rubs my back reassuringly.

I see Peter, Queen Susan and my brother climb down a rope to my Professor's office. They open the widow and go in. "They ar in". Soon Caspian will get our Professor and we will be rid of Uncle Miraz.

Caspians POV

My father was killed by my uncle! This could not be true. However I need to know the truth, so I head up to my uncle's quarters. I enter the room, King Peter and Queen Susan are nowhere in sight. I put my sword to my Miraz's neck, waking him up immediately. "Thank goodness", he says "you're safe."

"Get up." He gets up from his bed and wakes my aunt in the process.

"Caspian?" She asks confused.

"Stay where you are". I order.

"What are you doing?"

"Should think it's obvious, dear", Miraz says to her. "Some families might consider this inappropriate behavior."

"But that doesn't seem to have stopped you." I say putting the sword closer to his neck.

"But you are not like me, are you?" He asks in a threatening voice. "It's sad. The first time you've shown any backbone... and it's such a waste." I see my aunt grab the crossbow from the header of their bed.

"Put the sword down, Caspian." She states aiming the weapon at my head. "I don't want to do this."

Suddenly King Peter and Queen Susan enter the room. "We don't want you to either." I know Peter will not like me here. I am supposed to be at the gate. However I need answers!

"This used to be a private room." Uncle says while putting his hands on his hips.

"What are you doing? You're supposed to be at the gatehouse!" King Peter states.

I snap, "No! Tonight for once I want the truth. Did you kill my father?" I push the sword closer to his neck, making him back up.

"Now we get to it." Uncle says.

"You said your brother died in his sleep." my Aunt says, looking to her husband.

"That was more or less true."

Queen Susan speaks up, "Caspian, this won't make things better." Her bow still aimed at my aunt.

"We Telmarines would have had nothing had we not taken it. Your father knew that as well as anyone." Uncle says slowly.

"How could you?" My aunt questions as she lowers her weapon.

"For the same reason you would pull the trigger. For our son."

"Stop!"

"Stay right there." Queen Susan states aiming her bow towards Miraz.

"We need to make a choice dear. Do you want our child to be king?" Blood now drips from his neck. "Or do you want him to be like Caspian and Terrain? Fatherless!!"

My aunt screams as she shoots her crossbow. An arrow is now in my arm. I see my Uncle escape.

Terrain POV

Ed and I wait for the gates to open. That is when the battle would begin. In the meantime he is fooling around with his torch while I stay on lookout duty. Suddenly Ed places his torch on the ledge. I feel his breath on my neck and his hands on my arms. I shiver slightly as his breath sends goosebumps down my spine and throughout my entire body. "Terrain?" He whispers. I hum in response. "Every since I laid eyes on you... everything has changed."

"How so?" I ask my voice barely above a whisper. He rubs up and down my arms sending fire throughout my body.

"I feel like I've gone crazy. Nothing is the same... The whole world looks different now. And not just different because it's been 1300 years since I have been in Narnia, it feels different. Being near you! Being next to you right now. I feel this strange burning desire. If anything were happen to you, the world wouldn't be as bright. It would be broken." He moves closer to my ear and whispers, "I would be broken."

I turn around and face him. Our noses only inches apart. The problem is I do not know what to say. A piece of hair falls into my eyes, but before I could tuck it behind my ear Edmund's hand is already there. His hand brushes my skin making my cheeks heat up. Why do I feel this way when I am around him. I look into his beautiful chocolate brown eyes and am about to answer when my elbow hits his torch, knocking it over the ledge.

A guard comes out from the door and inspects the torch. Ed and I run down the stairs. The guard turns on the torch and begins to wave it around. "Oh no" I thought. The Narnians probably do not know what that means and will be confused. Suddenly the bells start to ring. And the bells only mean one thing: Intruder Alert.
