I wake up to the sounds of men talking, birds chirping and water splashing. Opening my eyes I see that I am in a boat with two soldiers and one dwarf. The dwarf from last night to be exact. I noticed my hands are bound behind me and my mouth is gagged.
"He won't stop staring," one of the men says. I look over to see the dwarf staring at the guard in a menacing way.
"So don't look," the other man says. I am sitting behind the one that the dwarf is staring so furiously at. However the man that is being stared at looked down at the dwarf uncomfortably. Obviously getting agitated with the dwarf, the man states that they are far enough out and stop the boat. One starts to pick up the dwarf while the other looks to me. I try to get lose but to no avail.
Once the man gets a good grip on me, and is about to throw the dwarf and I off the boat, an arrow pierces the boat's side. I look over to the beach to see a lady with a bow an arrow, along with two boys and a little girl. I smile on the inside, knowing we're going to be okay, knowing we're not going to die.
"Drop them," the lady commands. Wait no. I try to get out of the man's grip. However the man is too strong, and throws me into the water. I try to swim but it's no use. I am basically drowning.
Suddenly I see a figure swim towards me. It is one of the boys, the one with raven hair. He grabs my waist and swims to the surface. Once I am able to breathe again the raven haired boy kneels in front of me, and takes the gag off. His eyes are soft, yet intimidating when I stare into them. He smiles while helping me stand.
"Thank you," I manage to say.
"You're very welcome." I see the lady that shot the arrows grab the boat, and the girl unties the dwarf's hands. I look up to see the golden haired boy, obviously the eldest of the group, probably nineteen at most, staring at the dwarf with satisfaction that he saved him.
The girl finished untying the dwarf's roped hands and stands up next to the lady. The dwarf gags, getting the water out of his lungs.
"Drop him!" He states angrily at the lady throwing the gag to the ground while standing up. "That's the best you can come up with?" I just stay quiet. I mean I agree with the dwarf, however they saved us so we shouldn't be mad.
"A simple 'thank you' would suffice," the lady says.
"They were doing fine drowning me without your help." He points to where the soldiers almost killed us.
"Are you kidding me?" I speak up, looking the dwarf dead in the eyes. "They saved our lives. We should be grateful." I look around the group. "Thank you all for saving us."
"Why were they trying to kill you, anyway?" The girl asks, looking between the both of us.
"They're Telmarines. That's what they do. Ask her she would know." He points to me with hatred in his eyes.
"I am no Telmarine. I am Princess Terrain, and I would never hurt anyone unless they were planning on hurting me or anyone I loved."
"Then why were they trying to kill you? You're their leader," The golden haired boy asks.
"My uncle, Miraz. He has wanted my brothers and I's throne for as long as I can remember. His wife bared a child only yesterday, so now that he has an heir, he can kill us." A tear falls from my eye but I quickly wipe it.
"Telmarines? In Narnia?" The raven haired boy asks the dwarf, changing the subject as he can see it upsets me.
"Where have you been for the last few hundred years?"
"It's a bit of a long story," the girl says, smiling widely. The lady hands the golden haired boy back his sword. Only I notice a lion's head on the handle. Similar to the lions head on the horn. Wait? Lion? Sword? Horn? The four of them? These were the kings and queens of Narnia 1300 years ago.
"Oh you've got to be kidding me. You're it? You're the Kings and Queens of old?" The dwarf asks in disbelief.
The eldest steps forward with his hand out. "High King Peter, the Magnificent," King Peter says to the dwarf. This cannot be happening right now. How are they here?
"You probably could have left off the last bit," Queen Susan says. I laugh a little bit, however I stop so I won't offend the High King.
"Probably," the dwarf says laughing.
High King Peter takes out his sword. "You might be surprised."
"Oh you don't want to do that, boy," the dwarf warns.
"Boy! You should know better then anyone to address the Kings and Queens of Narnia in the proper way. I mean Narnians, from what I read, worshiped the ground the Kings and Queens stepped on," I say almost breathless. I look over to see all of them staring at me, appreciating what I just said.
High King Peter states that it will not be him fighting the dwarf, but King Edmund. He hands the dwarf his sword, while King Edmund pulls his out of the haulster.
Automatically the dwarfs clashes swords with King Edmund. He ducks as the dwarf swings another, however King Edmund is punched in the eye making Queen Lucy call his name.
"Oh, you alright?" The dwarf asks and swings his sword again. King Edmund moves around him and slaps his butt with the end of his sword. He looks back to his family and I smiling as the dwarf takes another swing. King Edmund meets his sword then jumps over the next one. They meet swords once more, King Edmund rotates his sword, along with the dwarf's. Taking one last hit, the dwarf's sword goes flying. He raises his sword above his head pointing it directly at the shocked dwarf.
"Beards and bedsteads!" The dwarf sits on the sand. "Maybe that horn worked after all." This makes me realize that I called for help. I called for the Kings and Queens of Narnia.
"What horn?" Queen Susan asks.
I reach into my pocket and take out her horn. "This one your majesty. When my brother and I were being attacked I blew your horn to call for help. I didn't know it belonged to you until now." I give her back the horn and look to the ground.
"It's quite alright. Thank you for giving it back."
"You're welcome your majesty."
We start to head off, getting the boat ready for a long journey. I sit down in the back, Queens Lucy and Susan in the front along with the dwarf. High King Peter sits in the middle, facing me, paddling. As for King Edmund, he sits down next to me.
"Hello King Edmund."
"Hello, Terrain right?"
"Yes."
"What a beautiful name," I hear him mumble. "You really don't have to call us by our King or Queen name. When we were ruling we prefered, well I prefered if people called me by my first name."
"So I just call you Edmund?"
"Yes please."
"What about, just Ed? Has a nice ring to it. Don't you think?"
"I love it," he says smiling. I smile back.Hope you guys loved the video up top! Because I sure did! I was like oh my gosh this is the perfect video to show at this point. He is just so adorable!!! And is it just me or does he look the best in the second movie? Cus I just love his long hair!!!
