Is it so bad to believe in religion? NO
Is it necessary? Do you think I'm religious? NO.
I always viewed religion as a way to keep people up
To keep them in high spirits when things start to get tough.
One helping another through the gift of the mind
Given belief of miracles through the gift of a god.
No matter which one you believe you are the child
So why would you be punished for living free and wild?
It's a guide given from those who believe in what's right
With a hope to build peace and bring people to light.
But happiness comes in many forms, no one can say what is truly wrong
No matter how you go about time and stress does your body harm
So one should always live life happily and without alarm
There's nothing dedicated to you. Life is full of chance
Whether it good luck or bad give your beliefs their respect
Even for those that don't believe there's always logic to it
Because whether seen or unseen there's always a prophet to it.
So whether real or not religion was genius
Because it gave people hope of limitless dreaming
