You see darkness usually brings out the darkness of the mind.
But darkness is a space that we fill, not an evil with a bind.
Don't use the darkness as an excuse to bring your darkness to the light.
Because your darkness controls you but I control mine.
See when people fall to the dark it is more something of a sign.
Given a place of uncertainty in what process do you reside?
Do you hope and keep life, to push forward and refine?
Or do you pick at the line of your hatred and despise?
The dark doesn't decide or provide you insight.
The light doesn't either even then you'll be blind.
It all falls onto you, how will you perceive life?
Find a comfort in them both, only then can you strive.
It's OK when you fall but let nothing slow your stride.
Your path will arise from your will to survive.
Don't stray from the dark that's where thoughts will ignite.
Clear thoughts of your life, get too dark be a light.
So that others can see fine, and in that they'll remind.
Of your strength and your courage, build back to the line.
Then you'll see now you are wise and that you were the guide.
