What is your love worth, Is it selfish and vain?
What does it mean when you say I love you, is it just a saying?
To me
I love you means you're part of me, a part of my heart.
I love you means you are desired, a benevolent spark.
I love you means you are a passion, exactly what the spirit craves.
I love you means I'll bury the world to protect you and keep you from pain.
I love you means I want the best for you and want to add to your life.
I love you means I'll never judge you and I'm always there by your side.
I love you means I'll take care of your every need.
I love you means I want nothing more than to see you succeed.
I love you means I don't want to lose you but I probably fear it.
I love you means I need you and I'm ok with admitting it.
It's when that love becomes selfish that there is the disconnect.
Yes I want you to do things for me, to help me to rise.
Yes I want you to do things in life, to build and to strive.
Just like I want to do things for you in hopes of making you smile
And I want to do what I can to make sure you have a beautiful life.
Love is a promotion of beauty regardless of view.
The beauty that you seek even when you're miserable.
Love is the beauty that's imbedded in the gloom.
The beauty that you radiate and you move.
The beauty that is inevitably you.
