I believe in the connection of souls, nothing is more pure.
I have felt this very connection, a bond truly mature .
As it stands I question the idea of a soulmate.
Not that they exist but to my own I'd like to know if you can relate.
Do you smile endlessly even though you are never happy?
Do you search for a love you feel will never happen?
Do you fall in love quickly when love can be felt?
Do you give your love your all no matter what they give out?
Have you battled hate for yourself because it ended in failure?
Have you fought the urge to give up on love and just follow pleasure?
Have you faced your greatest demon and wonder when it'll come back?
If you're the one that will give in, if you're the one that will crack?
Have you faced a hopeless love and stayed positive after that?
Are you similar to me in the way you make a connection?
I can feel when something's wrong but I never feel elevation.
Which begs the question,
When I have those random moments of happiness is that you?
Are you waiting for me? Are you curious too?
And what of the moments of complete sorrow, are you good?
How is life going for you, did you have a childhood?
Are we constantly guided toward one another?
Is it possible that we could completely miss each another?
I wonder what you look like, will I cherish the view?
I wonder what it will feel like when you say I love you.
I wonder if the love will match, the strength of it plentiful.
Would it grow in true love, I have faith in the miracle.
