In Which We Seek

Exactly what is happiness,
Where does it come from?
How does one find it?
Does it lead everyone?
Is it a thing of luck?
Somewhat of a rarity?
Is it something you work for?
The matter needs clarity.
What of those that have never found it?
How are they to believe?
What of those those that turn away and feel they're being deceived?
Why is negativity so plentiful and easy to come by?
While positivity requires being oblivious, forgetting, and somebody to stand by.
Then the pain, it seems to be some sort of guide.
Those who cringe in it seem to find where happiness lies.
While those who cry in it seem to let happiness die.
Maybe that's it right, it separates the strong from the weak.
But that indicates that the weak don't deserve a chance to be happy.
How can that be fair? How can that be real?
That happiness would be found in the strength of one's will.
What good is your fight without any light?
Where does it get you when you stand and life bites?
Whether You push or pull back you look for your place of happiness,
But what of those that don't have a place where happiness exists?
