Devon Devereaux

This was the final party we were going to before my birthday in about two weeks unless a last minute party comes up which is what the party we were at right now was. I haven't been spending time with Nate since the last party and the day after when we all got food to eat, I've only spent time with him when he was hanging with Nash or Hayes and the others never one on one.

I was already done with this party, I didn't really want to even go to a party but I got dragged along anyways. I've spent the last thirty minutes chilling on the front porch while everyone else had the time of their lives.

I sighed as I stood up and made my way inside trying to find Nash or Hayes or one of the Jacks to let them know I was gonna get a Uber back to the house but my search was cut short when Nate pulled me into the open bathroom and shut the door.

"Babes, why are you ignoring?" He slurred crossing his arms trying to act serious.

"I'm not Nate," I sighed.

"Yes you are." He stomped his foot like a child.

"Your drunk." I stated and he didn't answer he just looked at me with his arms still crossed. I sighed, "How'd did you get here? Uber? Did you drive? Catch a ride?" I asked. He still said nothing. "Come on, Nate." I hugged crossing my arms.

"Drove." He states firmly while he furrowed his eyebrows hard to make himself seem serious or angry but he looked like he was gonna start bursting out laughing at any moment.

"Keys," I held my hand out waiting for him to place them in my hand.

He just shook his head and stuck his nose up. I sighed and reached for him pocket having to dig threw the other to get the keys. Once I had the keys in my hand I dragged Nate out of the bathroom by his hand.

After a while I was able to get him out front and into the passenger side of his car. I walked around and got in the drivers seat and pulled my phone out and texted Nash telling him I was taking Nate home because he was drunk off his ass.

"Ready?" I questioned and looked over at him he just had his arms crossed still.

I sighed and pulled out of his parallel parking and down the street. "I didn't want to leave yet," he huffed.

I rolled my eyes and didn't reply. I drove in silence till we got to his apartment. I turned the engine off and looked over at him to see him passed out.

He looked cute.

I sighed and put my hand on his bicep, "Nate," I said softly shaking him. "Nathan." I do it again and he shuffles with a slight hum. "Come on," I push him slightly.

He looked over at me peeking through his eyelids. I got out of the car holding the keys in my hand and went around the passenger door and opening it. "Come on, Nate." I said and he groaned and slid out of the car and leaned against it while I closed the door. "Okay, come on."

After and insane amount of effort I got Nate upstairs and in his apartment onto the couch. He groaned and rolled into his side. I sighed and took his shoes placing them by the couch.

I left him on the couch while I tossed the keys onto his kitchen counter and grabbed a water from the fridge. I set the bottle on the counter and went on my tippy toes to look in the top cabinet to find something for his head, I soon found Tylenol. I took one out and put the bottle back bringing the pill and the water over to him. I opened the water, "Take this." I said and he groaned. "Nate come on, trust me, take it." I said holding the Tylenol and water out to him.
