I slowed down to a jog as I turned the corner. I jogged past houses, houses that had many similarities to house I ran past back home when I got lost in my daily run. Houses with the perfect green and trimmed lawn with stone steps creating a path to the front door, the ones with crystal clear windows and perfect, unchipped paint.
I took a deep breath after I jogged past the fifth house on the street and came to a complete stop as I stood in front of the sixth house, the one I was currently staying in.
I walked to the side of the house so I could get into the back yard. On my way I tighten my pony tail and crossed my right arm across my body, stretching. When I got to the side if the house I could hear the sound if the basketball bouncing. I switched arms, now stretching my left arm across my body.
By the time I got view of who was dribbling they shot the ball only having it bounce back off the back board, missing. "Nice shot," I teased as I walked father into the yard.
"You startled me." Nate laughed as I twisted my torso.
"Whoops." I shrugged bring my right leg up to my chest to stretch.
"How was your run?" He asked while I did the same to my left leg.
"Good." I nod and give a smile shaking my arms and legs a little while I watched him go to the hoop and grab his water that was set below it, tossing it to me. "Thanks." I smile.
While I watched as he dribbled the ball and made another shot, it hitting the rim and bouncing up nevertheless falling in the hoop. I walked the few steps to the hoop, placing the water bottle at the base. "Your form is a little weak, it could use some improvement."
"Ma, my form is everything but weak." He smirked resting the ball on his hip. I laughed. "Show me how it's done then." He said and passed me the ball. It bounced up to me, me catching it with both hands.
"Nah." I shook my head and bounce it back to him, him catching it the same I did.
"Aw, come on." He teased shooting the ball it falling in the basket.
I don't know why I did what I did next, but I jumped on the court stealing the ball away from from since he just got it back. "Oh," he smirked. "Bring it." He said doing that 'give me' motion with both hands.
I laughed and started to dribble the ball.

"Let's get our game on." Johnson shouted as we entered the house, prepared to play a game of basketball.
We got to the sliding door but stopped before we could leave. "Nah nah, we ain't gonna play a game." Hayes said.
"What?! Why?" Sam exclaimed.
"Because," I started, pulling my phone out to get a picture. " She never plays anymore."
"She can join the game then." Gilinsky said.
"No, we can't get her to play yet pick up a ball so if Nate can get her to play, then we ain't gonna risk her stopping, again." Hayes said.
I looked down at the pictures and sent it to Jai, only to get a reply back quickly saying 'finally' and asking who the guy is.
"Fifa, it is then." Johnson stated.
