She sat next to him, talking about absolutely nothing and everything, before she looked over at him.
"Do you ever play sports?" She asked, looking at the kids, probably four or five years younger than them, kicking around a football.
"I used to." He said with a grimace.
"Why did you stop?" She asked looking back to the kids.
"Uh, something just came up in life, and my parents thought that maybe it would be best if I stopped." He said, and she nodded.
"I used to do martial arts." She said and he smiled and shook his head.
"I played football for my school team." He said, and she smiled.
"I can imagine that." She said, and he laughed.
"Can you really?"
"Oh, yeah. Absolutely." She said and they both laughed.
That was the day she learned Luke Hemmings used to play sports.
