blaze has an anxiety attack in this chapter, so if that triggers you or makes you uncomfortable at all please, please don't read.
"Well, what do you want?" Luke asked and Blaze shrugged.
"I don't care, some cookies or something." She said.
"Okay, I'll be back in like ten minutes." He said and she nodded. "Bye, love you." He said, and she smiled up at him.
"Love you." She replied. He leaned down and pecked her lips before walking out the door. She stood up off of the couch and changed the movie. It was really the first time she hadn't been with Luke for a few weeks, which meant this was the first time she had really been alone with her thoughts. At first, they were simple.
I wonder what the boys are doing?
I haven't seen Chelsea for a while. Maybe I should call her.
I wonder how dad's business trip is going.
But then, the thoughts she had been pushing back for days came into her mind.
It's been almost ten minutes. Is Luke okay?
What am I going to do when he dies?
What is I'm not even there when he dies?
He had been getting weaker for the past few days. Everyone could see it. His limp was getting more prominent, and he was starting to ache more often. She felt the familiar butterflies in her stomach, and her hands were shaking, but the thoughts wouldn't stop.
It could happen anytime.
How am I going to live without him?
What am I going to do?
The butterflies intensified until it was full blown nausea. Her heartbeat dramatically increased, and her arms got a tingling sensation. She stood there, the thoughts flying through her mind at a hundred miles per hour until she collapsed, thankfully landing on the couch. She was gasping for breath, sitting on the couch with her knee pulled up to her chest. She faintly heard the door open, and Luke's gasp.
"Oh my God, Blaze! Blaze, are you okay?" He asked, though she could barely hear his fuzzy voice. Holding her in his arms, he rubbed her back. He looked over her with worried eyes until her heartbeat finally slowed down and the air was returned to her lungs. "Blaze what was that?" He asked, and she shook her head, getting up off the couch. She walked into the kitchen and grabbed two glasses out of the fridge. She filled one with water and the other with root beer, knowing it was his favourite. As he stood with his drink in his hand, she gulped hers down. "Blaze, did you just have an anxiety attack?" He asked slowly, and she silently nodded, playing with her empty glass. He pulled her into his arms and rocked them back and forth until she finally wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his chest.
That was the first anxiety attack she had since she met Luke Hemmings.
(Sorry if the attack was a bit weird that's what happens to me but everyone is different.)
