"We should go somewhere today." Luke said, and Blaze looked at him with an eyebrow raised.
"Where?" She asked, and he shrugged.
"Anywhere. The world is our oyster." He said, and she sniggered.
"Jeez, you sound like my dad." She said, and then it was his turn to raise an eyebrow.
"Let's go to the bowling alley." He suggested, and she chuckled and shook her head.
"Whatever you say, Hemmings." She said, and they stood up off of the bench, before walking to his car.
Ten minutes later, they were in different shoes, and Blaze was holding a ball up near her face.
"You can do this Blaze." She whispered to herself, before swinging her arm back and rolling the ball down the lane. She gasped as it knocked down all the pins, and spun around to meet Luke's surprised gaze.
"Nice." He complimented, and she threw her arms up in the air.
"I did it!" She shouted, and Luke laughed, before standing up and grabbing a heavy ball off of the stand. With ease, he rolled the ball down the lane and watched as it hit all the pins. He turned around and started walking back to his seat.
"Blaze, I may have stopped sports, but that doesn't mean I'm not still good." He said, and she pouted.
Luke won.
That was the first day they left the park.
