"Why isn't this working?" She shouted, and he just shook his head and laughed.
"You have to wait for it to heat up." He said, and she glared at him.
"I don't need your input, Lucas!" She said, and he just put his hands up in surrender and walked into the living room, turning on the telly. Half an hour later, she came out of the kitchen, with her hands on her hips, smiling. "It's ready." She grinned, and he raised an eyebrow and stood up off the couch. He turned into the kitchen and laughed when he saw a microwave waffle on a plate in front of him.
"Ten points for presentation." He said, referring to the chocolate drizzle on top and a cookie as a garnish.
"Thank you, I worked hard on that." She said. He laughed again and hugged her.
"Thanks, I can't wait to eat it." He said, and she proudly smiled.
That was the first time she ever cooked for Luke Hemmings (and she was proud, too.)
