"I don't want to do anything." She groaned, falling back on his bed.

"Sorry." He sighed, grabbing a book off of his desk.

"What are you reading?" She asked, and he held up the book to show her. "Les Misérables." She read out loud, and he nodded, before returning to the book, laying down on the bed. She got up, moving to his book case, looking though the many titles he had cluttering the shelves. She finally pulled out a tattered copy of To Kill a Mockingbird. She had already read it countless times, but one more couldn't hurt. She joined Luke on the bed again, opening up the front cover.

"I really like that one." He said, and she turned to him.

"I can tell, it's practically read to pieces." She laughed. He smiled and they both turned back to their books.

"We could probably be doing something really cool right now, but we're reading." He said, not taking his eyes off the page.

"Reading is cool." She chuckled.

That was the first time she ever read with Luke Hemmings.
