"Can I ask you a question?"
"You just did." She said and he rolled his eyes.
"Seriously." He said, and she looked up from her phone. She sat up.
"Yeah, of course." She said, noticing his serious expression.
"Okay, well we've been hanging out for a while now." He started, and she nodded. "And I was just wondering, I don't know... If maybe you wanted to, you know... Go out, sometime?" He asked, and she beamed at him.
"Yes."
"Wow. Okay that was easier than I thought." He said, and she laughed.
That was the first time Luke Hemmings ever asked her out.
