"You never sang for me." He stated.

"I never said I would." She shook her head, falling down on her bed.

"I sang for you."

"Yeah, but I'm not good."

"I thought I wasn't good, either. But you said I was. If you aren't, I'll lie. I promise." He said, and she snorted.

"Thanks for that." She said, and he nodded.

"Anytime." He grinned. "So will you?"

"Do you promise not to make fun of me?" She asked, scrolling throughout something on her phone.

"I swear." He said, and she took a deep breath, trying to think of a song. She started to sing, and he smiled.

"Hello there, the angel from my nightmare

The shadow in the background of the morgue

The unsuspecting victim of darkness in the valley

We can live like Jack and Sally, if we want." He listened carefully to her voice, trying not to miss a thing. He closed his eyes, trying to impress this moment in his mind forever, this was one thing he wanted to remember. When she finally finished, he grinned at her and she sheepishly smiled back.

That was the first time Luke Hemmings ever heard her sing.
