"No, stop twisting my words!" Blaze screamed at him, and he ran a hand through his already messed up quiff.

"I'm not twisting your words! I'm telling you exactly what you said!" He yelled back.

"You're completely changing everything I'm saying!"

"No, I'm not! You're the one having regrets!"

"I'm not having regrets! God, how many times do I have to tell you?" They had been screaming at each other for at least half an hour. Luke was grateful his parents were out, and unable to see the scene in the kitchen. Neither of them could even remember what they were fighting about anymore, it was just yelling.

"Apparently, more than once!" He screamed.

"I've said it seven times, Luke!" She pushed his chest back, but he barely swayed.

"Well, say it again, because obviously, I haven't heard it!"

"Well, obviously you're not listening." He sighed, and she rubbed her temples. "I don't want to fight with you." She said, lowering her voice, a strange contrast to the scream-filled house.

"Why not?" He challenged.

"Because, who knows how much longer you have? I don't want to spend our possibly last day together fighting.

"I'm sorry." He sighed again, and she did the same.

"I'm sorry, too." She said, wrapping her arms around his waist. He squeezed her shoulders, kissing the top of her head.

"What were we even fighting about?" He chuckled, and she laughed.

"I have no idea." She said, which caused them both to laugh harder. After they calmed down, he kissed her softly.

"Let's not fight."

"Fighting is stupid." She said, and he laughed.

That was her first fight with Luke Hemmings.
