Holiday 2

I woke up bright and early and looked at the calendar. December 24, 2017.

A smile playing on my face I went to the bathroom and showered before throwing on some black jeans, combat boots, a black thermal shirt, and a blue and black flannel.

I was going home, well not home home. CeCe and Nick invited my family to Nick's vacation home for the holiday. It was in Colorado.

The awkwardness was going to be a bit much and I knew that but I'd be with my entire family so I wasn't too upset about that.

I packed three days ago. Megan, Grady, and Brooklyn left the day before, we had dinner together the night before they left. So I was at the suite with Tyler and Declan that morning.

They, like I, had early flights so we'd be leaving out at the same time.

After showering, doing my hair, and changing I took my luggage to the living room and made breakfast and called Abbie over.

"Smells great." Declan said coming in.

I smiled and nodded," thanks D. I thought we could have breakfast together since we won't be seeing each other over the holidays."

He grinned and sat down," well I appreciate the sentiment."

I smacked his hand before he could eat," wait for Tyler and Abbie."

"Abbie huh, you two have been really close the past few weeks." He pointed out.

I set the table," yeah. I really like her." I smiled.

He nodded," good. I'm glad you're happy. You deserve it."

As he said that there was a knock at the door and I opened it.

"Hey," I greeted Abbie, kissing her cheek and hugging her.

"Hi," she smiled," hi Declan." She waved.

He waved back and took a seat at the table.

Tyler soon joined us and we ate together. Conversation was full of what we were going to do for Christmas and what we thought we'd get.

Abbie's family lived here in California so this is where she would be staying.

"I'm gonna miss you." She said hugging me, her arms around my waist.

I wrapped my arms around her shoulders and hugged her," I'm going to miss you too. I promise to call though." I said.

Pulling back she nodded and kissed my lips. I cupped her cheek before pulling away.

"I'm kidnapping you, you aren't going anywhere," she said her arms tightening a little around my waist.

I chuckled," come on B. I don't want to leave either, well I do, but I wish I could take you with me."

She sighed," fine, go before I change my mind."

"Bye." I quickly kissed her.

After I said goodbye, Tyler, Declan, and I grabbed our stuff and went to the shuttles ordered to get to the airport.

We sat together on the ride there, it was mostly quiet because we had our headphones in.

After arriving at the airport we got out and waited for our flights to be called together. Tyler left first and me after. I hugged Grady goodbye and boarded my plane.

The long tedious flight made my thoughts run wild. Mostly about how awkward this vacation would be.

Truthfully I'm not sure what to do. Jess and I have been together every vacation since College. I'm so used to coming home and kissing her, making love to her, just being with her.
