Ohio looked cool. Not the coolest state ever but still pretty nice, especially at night when we showed up. Well it wasn't night time, it was 2 a.m. but it's was really dark.
The hotel we were staying in, because Ali and Drew's apartment is small, was also pretty nice. Unlike Colorado I couldn't convince Ali to trade rooms with me. She and Drew stayed at the hotel with us just for the hell of it.
I dropped my bag at the door of the hotel room.
"Roomie!" Jessica exclaimed wrapping her arms around my neck from behind.
Sighing I said," yeah. Roomie."
She dropped her bag on the only bed and looked at me," so, you want to check out the pool...with me?"
"Uh, yeah, sure. Let me change." I grabbed my bag and went into the bathroom.
There's no reason we couldn't be friendly, right?
I slipped on my bikini and put swim trunks on before stepping out.
Jess was standing in her bikini, looking really attractive.
Stop it Alex.
"Let's hit the pool." She said hooking her arm with mine and pulling me out.
We went to the elevators and down to the pool. I grabbed a towel and sat it on a chair along with my phone and wallet.
Putting my feet in the pool I was pleased to find the water luke warm. I slid into the pool and leaned against the edge, my arms holding me up.
Jess jumped in, floated over to me, and leaned against my arm," I miss you."
"Jess," I looked at her, her eyes said how much she missed me and that wasn't enough but my mouth had a mind of it's own," I-I miss you too," I cupped her cheek," I miss you so much pretty girl."
She blushed and leaned into my hand," I'm going to make it up to you Alex, I promise."
I removed my hand and cleared my throat.
She nodded, moved away from my arm, and cleared her throat," race?"
"You're on." I smirked grabbing the edge of the pool.
"1,2,3, Go!" She pushed off and waded to the other end.
I frowned and asked," can you even swim?"
"Not at all but I'm winning!"
Laughing I kicked off from the wall and swam to the other end of the pool and back by the time Jess was halfway to the other end.
"Cheater!" She called laughing.
I swam back to her as she bobbed in the water," I'm not a cheater you just can't swim!"
"Hey!" She offendedly splashed me.
I smirked," when I go under take a deep breath." I told her.
I took a deep breath and went under before tapping Jess' leg. She soon came under and I grabbed her hand. Pulling her to the farthest corner of the pool I pointed to a painting on the floor.
It was a swarm or flock of butterflies, all different colors, all flying to something.
Jess went to gasp and just sucked in a bunch of water. My eyes widened and I pulled her up to the surface.
"Shit, are you alright?" I asked.
She coughed a few times and nodded," yeah," cough," I'm fine." Cough cough.
