Chapter 16: Our Therapy (Part I)

Vanessa's P.O.V

"Give me the keys, guys" I said for the hundredth time to Zach and Luke getting irritated by every passing second.

"No not until you let us come with you" They both said crossing their arms in front of their chest.

I groaned. We really thought we would take them with us but then our therapy wasn’t really normal just like everything else about us wasn’t normal. So we just decided to go on our own but now I don’t have my car as it is still in the school's parking lot and the only way for us to go is to use Zach's car but we're not gonna get anywhere. We just decided to go to the forest nearby where no one will hear anything.

"Guys we don’t have time just give us the keys" Lucy said exasperated but the sound was falling on deaf ears they just stood there blocking our way like statues.

"Just let us come with you we need to make sure your both okay, we won't ask anything" Zach said.

Lucy looked at me and I just nodded gruffly.

"You promise you won't ask ANY questions, you'll just sit quietly at the back" Lucy said making a deal

"We promise" they said together.

"Finally" I yelled snatching the keys from Zach.

"Why are we stopping at a bar at 7 in the freaking morning??!!" Luke yelled from the backseat. Both I and Lucy turned to glare at him in unison.

"Shut.Up" Lucy and I said together before getting out of the car and in the bar. I really thought it'd be closed but it wasn't. There were just two people in the bar; a bartender and a fairly large man passed out on one of the tables.

Luke and Zach were in the car as I put child lock before they could get out. We both walked to the bartender.

"What can I get for you?" he asked smiling.

"Uh how about 6 packs of beer" I said smiling sweetly at him, to say he was shocked was an understatement he looked totally gob smacked.

"I'm sorry I don’t think I heard you right… did you just say 6 packs of beer?" he asked and I groaned internally before nodding my head. He still stood there for a while before going to bring what we asked for. All the stores were closed at this time and we had to make sure to get the glass bottles not the cans. According to Lucy's calculation it would be around 36 bottles, I guess they were enough.

He came back with the packs and dropped them on the counter, I piled up 3 packs and started walking towards the car after Lucy paid and picked the other 3 packs. Luke and Zach were sitting in the car trying to get it to open but when they saw us they stopped and completely froze well no shock there.

I unlocked the car and got in, before starting the car and heading towards the forest.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GIRLS PLANNING ON DOING??!!!" Luke yelled right next to my ear eyeing the packs of beer Lucy had put on the ground.

"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU YELLING??!!" I yelled back. It was silent for a moment before Luke started talking again.

"Why do you have 6 packs of beer? And where are we going?" he asked calmly but the irritation was clear in his voice. Just as he finished I pulled over the car. I fixed the rear view mirror and looked at Luke and Zach who were both confused even Lucy had a questioning look.

"Get out" I simply said and they both gave me incredulous looks.

"Why?" Luke asked again.

"That's why" I said shouting and turning around to look at them.

"You guys said you were gonna sit quietly and you won't ask any questions but as you're not doing that you can get out" Luke was gonna argue again when Zach smacked him and told him to shut up. I looked at them for another few minutes seeing if they'd again start talking when I was sure they won't I turned back around and started driving.

Luke's P.O.V

Everyone was silent, I had figured it by now that we were driving to the forest there's nothing else at this side of the town. Everyone was lost in their thoughts, I was too but I was sure my thoughts were the most different; I was thinking how hot Vanessa looks when she's frustrated. Probably not the most appropriate thing but I had nothing to else to think about, I was tired of thinking of what's going on. And now I was tired of the silence. I looked around to see all three of them still lost in their own dream world but I couldn’t get why Zach was so disturbed he usually doesn’t even care about anything no matter how stupid or weird it looks but he's been this quite since we left for the hospital.

We stopped in front of the forest just like I guessed and Vanessa and Lucy got out without even waiting for us, they both were holding the packs of beer. I guess I'll just talk to Zach later.

We all silently walked in the forest but I could just see how amused Vanessa and Lucy were as they would turn back every second and enjoy seeing me in misery. Zach was in misery alright but I don’t think it was for the same reason as me.

We walked for another few moments before we came to this clearing it was beautiful; there was a lake at the far end of the clearing while the rest of it was surrounded by trees.

Vanessa and Lucy dropped the packs of beer on the ground and it was as if they had already decided what they were gonna do, they turned around and looked around as if checking it was just us and then they looked at me and Zach.

"You can sit this is gonna take some time" Lucy said but this time there was no smile. One thing I've learned she's always smiling like ALWAYS. So it kinda creped me out that suddenly both of their behaviors had taken a 180 degree turn; They're bodies and voices were stiff.

I looked at Zach only to find him already sitting comfortably on the grass. I sighed and did the same. They looked at us one last time before Vanessa grabbed a bottle in a freakily fast speed and

SMASH! The glass bottle shattered into pieces after hitting a tree somewhere far. I had my mouth open and eyes wide. What the hell was that??!! I was gonna shout when I shut myself up knowing they'd send me back to the car.

Maybe this would tell me more about Vanessa. In a flash Lucy did the same. Then Vanessa. Then Lucy. Then Vanessa again, basically this kept on going till the first pack was finished. Zach and I both had stood up and were pacing around looking at them every time they would break a bottle again. Zach had his hands stuck in his hair which was now sticking up in every direction. He would pull at them every few seconds.

"What the hell are they doing?" Zach hissed to me. I glared at him.

"I would also love to know" I whispered back to him.

"You guys don't have to whisper" Lucy said smiling. She was setting up the bottles in a straight line next to her and Vanessa was doing the same except she was at the totally other end of the clearing. Oh god what is going on?

"You guys can go if you want" Vanessa said running back to us. They both were once again standing in front of us.

"We are not going anywhere" Zach and I said simultaneously. They both sighed before getting something out of there back pocket I think.

"Then remember; No Questions" They both said and they were holding…
